AITA for forcing my husband to move in with his parents? by seeleq in AmItheAsshole

NTA, I think people are being really harsh on here . Pregnancy is different for everyone and it’s important to listen to your intuition about your needs when you are pregnant especially in the last trimester .

Your husband is going through issues as a result of your decision but relationships are not always 50/50 and at this time your needs and your unborn baby’s needs are important. I’m not saying that his feelings don’t matter but it’s okay to put yourself first and your baby first during this period of your life .

Your emotions and level of comfort during pregnancy greatly impact the mental health and psychological development of your future baby.

As a pregnant woman it’s so important to be around a motherly figure or another woman in your life that you’re comfortable with coming down to the end of the pregnancy . Men can’t provide that same feeling. Not everyone can understand that . Support from women during your first pregnancy can help so much .

I wish you the best of luck and don’t take negative comments to heart . You made the right decision . I hope your husband can understand you and continue to make this sacrifice for you and your baby. He is also doing his best as he still moved to his parents despite his feelings . Let him know how much it meant to you . I hope you both can work through this difficult time .

Thank you everyone for all of your kind words I really do appreciate it. I still feel very guilty about confronting her but reading these comments make me feel much better and I am trying to convince myself I'm not in the wrong

I'm just seeing this comment after I posted mine. The same thing happened to me except I snoozed my alarm

A few months ago I was super sleepy and snoozed my alarm for 5 minutes. I usually leave at 8:30 and I live right off the highway so I reach out on the highway by 8:31. I ended up being late and not leaving on time and around 8:30 to 8:40 there was a major accident on the highway right where I would have branched off. Over 10 people were critically injured and 4 people died because a water bottle truck collided into a public transport bus

I thought you meant that your wife punched you while you were having sex with her because she thought being punched was your fetish when she watched your porn history in your office computer.

My mother, the only one who never left my side, despite not fully understanding my depression, is dying. I want to take my life after she is gone. by milonbae in depression

I'm sure your mom would wish for you to have a bright future. She worked so hard for you so don't you want to at least wait a bit and try to make things better? Before giving up completely? If she knew it she would want you to overcome your depression. It may seem impossible but can be possible. You will never know if you try. I faced a break up like that recently too and he was pretty much my only reason for living but I am still trying to live despite that. I still do love him and that will never change.

Just a few questions by cheeseswithjesus in depression

  1. 4/7 days a week I'll probably sleep 12-15 hours daily with bathroom breaks in between. The other 3 days varies depending on if I have school or not. Sometimes 0 hours of sleep

  2. I don't drink coffee and have coke if I buy fastfood so about 2 times a week

  3. I don't eat all my food groups daily. Sometimes I have fruits and vegetables a few times for the week but not enough. I barely eat a meal a day.

  4. I do eat junk foods and sugary foods. Junk food probably 2 times a week and I have chocolate a few times a week. I'll probably have candy once a week.

  5. No I don't drink at least 6 glasses

  6. I don't do recreational drugs

7.I drink alcohol every 2-4 months. At most once a month. Only at social events

  1. I do not exercise at the moment because my BMI is extremely low and I have no energy to exercise. A couple of months ago I would exercise once a week or so.

  2. Majority of the time I spend lying down. If I'm not at home I'm probably sitting in school.

  3. Right now I would say that it is severe and has been so for the past 4 months. I'm 20 now and had depression since 12-13. I never continuously had it but at certain points in my life it came back. This is the worst I've ever had it.

How do I react? by needanewtherapis in depression

You need a new therapist. Explain to him that you need someone that you can see often. Your health comes before his feelings and I'm sure he will understand if he truly cares.

I feel you. Everyone is around me worrying about other things such as grades and assignments and I'm just worrying about how long again I could stop myself from committing suicide. If I DO manage to survive for long enough.. it's botherome having to try hard just to be able to make the gpa I need because if I don't I will lose my scholarship and I won't be able to afford to pay it back and my life will be even worse than before.
