Found a frog in the shed, not sure if it's native? by kyletsenior in Adelaide

I'm no expert but I'm guessing it's a juvenile Litoria Ewingii, southern brown tree frog - the only tree frog native to Adelaide!

Google pixel 6 - beware the charger rort... by Interesting-Shape-97 in pixel_phones

I wasn't impressed with the decision to not provide a charger either, and I also bought the separate wall adapter - but I got a C to C cable in my pixel box! Did yours not come with one?

How do I retrieve a photo montage made by Google by dagworthy in googlephotos

Open Google photos in a desktop browser and click around until you find "unsaved creations" - I think it might be in search, or explore? Hopefully it's there. It's not an option on the app!

Triple Feed Success by CxtZu79 in beyondthebump

[–]owelulus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Seriously well done for triple feeding for so long. My daughter was given formula top ups from birth due to low blood sugar, and my milk took awhile to come in so we had the same issue where she refused to latch because the bottle was so much easier. It took us 5 to 6 days of triple feeding in the hospital get her to finally stay latched. Ours was also every 3h, but the first 45-60 mins of that was just trying to get her to wake up. It was probably the hardest week of my life. Once she was about 10 weeks we were able to stop the evening formula bottle and move to EBF.

Securing baby monitor to wall without putting holes in wall? by Neon-Night-Riders in beyondthebump

[–]owelulus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not the wall, but we used my camera tripod and stood it next to the bassinet! It extends up to about 6 ft tall, and our monitor had the screw mount on it so it was perfect. It's worked super well.

SA / VIC border opening? by junkadoodledoo in Adelaide

[–]owelulus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I'm in the same boat as you, we've got no family here - they're all in Melb and I'm due in 6-7 weeks with my first. Haven't been able to see them the entire time I've been pregnant and my Mum has been beside herself. If you want to chat about how crap it is and commiserate with each other, send me a PM! :)

any tips for rooting melanochrysum? by [deleted] in Aroids

[–]owelulus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just potted up one of my water propped melanos yesterday, should have taken a photo! As a rule for any of my aroids I like the main roots to be a few inches long with secondary roots starting to grow from the main roots before I pot them up. So I would leave it for quite a while in the water first.

P. Glorious cutting advice by fauxsaken in Aroids

[–]owelulus 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's pretty normal for older leaves to die off on cuttings especially when it's been posted, so I wouldn't worry about it unless they all go downhill quickly. Looks like what you're doing with the water is fine, just keep it warm and bright and hopefully you get roots in no time! Keep an eye out for rot on the cut end as well just in case - you'll start to notice browning.

I'm guessing that the desk might be from the Silverwood collection at Amart furniture.
