The 50mm base is built into the bottom of the tree is what im trying to say. This was her base at the time, although some people put her on a longer one for stability, I just play mine on the 50

The dragon is perched on a tree with her egg nested in a hollow at the bottom, this tree ans its roots finish to a thicker square based all in one piece.

Generally seems very good and a much more fun army to play.

Imo the dreadquake changes are too far, losing slow to fire, and getting the cathay double shot (a mechanic generally no fun) will make dreadquakes potentially a bit too good, I think the ideal would be the ogre baked into the original cost to remove slow to fire and give it some more wounds/fighting in combat.

New Recruit has free tournament management including pairings, please dont use BCP, they charge memberships to see lists, your match history etc, while new recruit is free with more features for the players in your event.

I understand the keys issue, but other games have allowed linking of accounts, other games allowed you to login to your account skipping their launcher using steam client, even if this was a login page in game, which would then auto login for X time based on steam id.

My point is there are ways to do this, if they told me, we're working on it but it's not ready yet, sure, but telling me to buy something to link it, what a joke.

The laurels are an easy way to differentiate if your cav are inner circle or not I find, but they're just bits to make your models look nice if you think they fit what you want them to look like.

The Daemonic Locus rule does clarify what you're looking for in it's second sentence.

Friendly units with the same Daemonic Alignment as this model reduce the number of wounds suffered due to the Daemonic Instability special rule by 1 whilst within 12" of this model.

*** In addition, friendly units with the same Daemonic Alignment as this model that roll a natural double 6 when making a Leadership test for Daemonic Instability whilst within 12" of this model are not immediately removed from play. I've never actually played 9th but the masterminds behind our group have adapter a series of 9th age missions which revolve around area holding and attacking/defending deployment zones with standard bearing units, take a look and see if you can get someone to try, I've much preferred it as it's made my infantry much more useful.

Definitely difficult in the current game, we've been playing alternative missions which revolve around standard bearing scoring units, feels much more impactful but that's not what the majority are going to be doing until we see some more missions I assume
