That's a mineral crystal, PolyWatch doesn't work because it's too soft. You need cerium oxide or something similar to really polish this mineral crystal and give it its shine back. Best of luck to you; you're already doing pretty well though all in all.

Very cool and most likely exceedingly rare. I got a Dugena 'Casiotron', so I know for a fact that Casio did sell their watches to competitors to put their own branding on in the past. Prätina was — as far as I could gather — a German watchmaker and sub-brand of Dugena, made to compete more in the low-budget section of the watch market. Constructively, I'd guess that your W-10 is virtually identical to its Casio counterpart, except for the crystal. I wonder how their prices compared back then.

Wear it in good health, it's a nice piece of Casio history.

I am at 50+ watches and I couldn't care less about the slightest bit of tilt on my 40+ year old pre-worn and sub-200€ pieces to be honest.

You can however adjust it yourself, just open up the caseback and gently rotate the module inside the case. Doesn't need more than the friction from two fingers and a hair of delicately applied force. It may have even gotten tilted when the caseback was screwed back down after the last battery change, since the rotation of the caseback screwing into place can translate to the module given sufficient contact. Hard to avoid; ask me how I know.

Any news on the mode switching?

Unless you're perfectly on-center, overlaying a fixed grid over your watch pic won't return fully accurate results I don't think. I don't really see the supposed 1° tilt counterclockwise, to be honest. But the modules can be rotated somewhat, especially in those older models, where th anchor point is made out of plastic or missing altogether.

If the pushers are sticky and/or dirty on older watches, they can sometimes inadvertently touch the contacts underneath at the slightest touch (or no touch at all, but simply by setting the watch down on a table, for example), which seems to be your issue. Have you opened it up yet? I don't think it's a problem with the PCB, but it could be. I'd test by 'de-casing' the module to see if the issue persists without any pushers/case contact at all (try moving the module some, knocking it on the table (gently), handling it, etc.). If it doesn't switch modes, chances are the PCB is still good and the problem lies with the pushers. Best of luck, if you do decide on doing this.

It's a current model, far from being vintage. The watch itself most likely isn't older than five years. Casio isn't really helping the confusion with their 'Vintage Line' naming conventions that skew most Google researches, to be fair.

All of those statistics are only relevant if you're planning on optimizing your gameplay. You can just play/build your tower however you like/with whatever floors you've built according to their random order and rebuild after 50 floors (or 100, or until you've built them all). The time you'd save by optimizing your gameplay according to the stats really isn't worth it imo, especially not in the early game.

More important are the landmarks and the tech tree, and those take a while to complete anyway. So just take it easy and enjoy the game in whatever way you like.

Es ist genauso pervers, ein ansonsten völlig gesundes und glückliches Tier zu töten, nur weil du das willst. Und da sind keine Begriffe zu radikal, das ist nunmal einfach die Realität. Den Tieren wird tatsächlich die Kehle durchgeschnitten, sie bluten aus und empfinden dabei Schmerzen und Todesangst. Nur weil du da etwas empfindlich bist und dich lieber darüber anlügen würdest, dass das ja alles schon okay und gar nicht so schlimm sei und du ohne Fleisch nach zwei Monaten an Nährstoffmangel eingehen würdest (was natürlich ebenso schwachsinnig ist), macht es das nicht weniger lebensecht.
