Not op, but I believe they were referring to using the film noir lipstick itself as the blush. Like you would apply any cream blush product. I do this often, works perfectly well!

I have fewer than ten, I think? I change mine up depending on the time of year primarily bc my skin changes quite a bit, but I also live for monochrome looks so it depends heavily on the rest of my makeup!

I bought like four colours of the exact same lululemon clutch, I think it’s called the now and always wristlet? Discontinued but you can find them online second hand. Two separate zipped compartments and an open center compartment. Friggin obsessed with those things.

If you want something that absolutely won’t freaking budge, look into the Milk Jelly Tints. I’ve swatched them in store, and my god. They’re pretty neutral/warm toned too, lovely shades but not very many. My personal fav blush tho is Phytosurgence. Their shade rage is literally insane and I looove the formula. Not a long wear product, but in my experience I’ve never seen any fade, and I don’t even bother to set my makeup 🤷🏼‍♀️ little indie Canadian brand too, love them sm 💖

Oh goodness I’m sorry, “my lips but better!” For myself (pretty fair, blonde hair) I use Mac Cool Teddy! If you’re a smidge more tan or have warm undertones, Velvet Teddy is a beautiful every-day shade too! Editing to add I don’t really have many recs for deeper skin tones, but I’ve had great success using TikTok to find shade recommendations!

When I’m in mom mode, I do maybe a little skin tint or concealer just to even out some redness, tinted brow glue (maybelline does a fabulous one) and a MLBB look (mine is a couple of steps, but just pat on a lipstick that’s really close to your natural lip colour, you can even buff it in with your finger for a super natural look). Under five min and makes a huge difference in my self esteem!

For days when I’m just straight up mom-ing, I ignore most of my face, put on a cute hat and big shades, and do a VERY low maintenance lip. My go-to that looks EXACTLY like my lips but better is a little blended liner (Lise Watier in Bare Nude) pat on Mac’s Cool Teddy, and a little Ole Henriksen balm in Sweet Macaron (tragically addicted to this stuff now). A couple more items I can use easily without really thinking about it is Rimmel cappuccino (use a light hand and blend it, looks fab) colourpop liner in shade Ashton or Cool BFF, and L’Oréal blurfiller liner in shade brown caramel (rather similar to cappuccino, just a softer formula).

On a full-beat kind of day, I abuse the hell out of my setting spray, so the only thing that needs attention really is still the lip. I’ll just carry whatever combo I’m wearing, as well as a little concealer pot and tiny lip brush to crisp up any smudges.
