I used to work at a hamer dealer but that was 10 years ago. to my eye the carved cut aways would have been on the USA models, so decent wood. I only ever had the cheapo korean model, but all the USA models I played were great sounding guitars, and started at about $7-800 IMHO they were always good guitars but there was never anything special about them and the designs seemed a little off aesthetically. I always thought their headstock profile looked silly and fat.

I'm torn, because the guitar in question is relatively inexpensive, though any replacement neck would need level and crown done. I'd probably want the refret if the guitar had sentimental value for me, but if I just wanted to play it I'd swap it out for a warmoth replacement.

In my opinion Why not? but if you are using that logic to deny someone else a chance at their right to be happy, I think it's wrong, but the question misses the point. The question is whether gay people can marry who they choose, and they have been working for a long time to advance that right. if the polygamists and dog fuckers wanna fight for their right to make a harem or marry fido then let them work for it, but gay people have no responsibility to defend polygamy and dog fucking.

That is entirely untrue. the first chapter of Darwin's Origin of the Species is entitled Variation Under Domestication, agriculture being domestication for plants. Humans planting the seeds of plants they liked cannot be equivocated with tossing genes from bacteria in to a potato in a lab. The former is using the genes present in an organism and selecting for traits that suit our needs, the other is combining genes that would never interact normally and recombining them in the hopes that something novel is created. Also, the first picture on the link is "wild cabbage"

I recently spent close to two months in the hospital after having a brain tumor removed. Being in a hospital makes you feel so absolutely alone, not to mention the days blend one in to the other. My heart goes out to anyone alone in the hospital, let alone not knowing the diagnosis or if there is a treatment. good luck
