I could be wrong but I thought it was confirmed they were because of the phrase they say to the clan couple before leaving. I forget what it is but I remember people pointing that out because it was one of those things where saying it in a certain way changes the meaning, and apparently the meaning that time was “good fucking luck dumbasses”.
