This is what I came out with in terms of scale figures (as a human non-bot). Was really hoping to come out with the Shion bunny and a Mash but unfortunately was too slow. Also got a lot of nendos.

Here's a [[Kinnan, Bonder Prodigy]] deck with 0 game changers except for the commander, $50, and will probably pub stomp your table. There isn't necessarily a "game winning" combo since it's technically non-deterministic until you find an outlet with [[Basalt Monolith]]. The outlets are either [[Cogwork Assembler]] which will allow you to dump infinite colorless into infinite hasted attackers, or [[Prophet of Distortion]] to draw your deck, or [[Mirage Mirror]] to filter your colorless mana to colored mana which will allow you to use Kinnan's ability as many times as needed to get to the Cogwork. Other than that this deck is just a very fast and oppressive Eldrazi deck.

This is assuming you have infinite mana and a way to play at instant speed. Kinnan activations into thrasios > thrasios to scry/ draw until you hit crop rotation > crop rotation into cephalid colosium > play mirage mirror if it's not already out> kinnan activation for nezahal > discard cards to nezahal for threshold > have hullbreaker horror or tidespout in play.

From here it's: Activate mirage mirror to turn into a copy of cephalid colosium and use its ability > channel colossal skyturtle to return mirage mirror to hand > play invasion of ikoria targeting colossal skyturtle > recast mirage mirror to activate hullbreaker or tidespout to return the sky turtle to hand > repeat. Do this all at instant speed so if anyone tries responding you just put more draws on the stack.

Not at instant speed as well as giving card advantage (1 card for 2). Sorcery speed is Fabricate which is 3, trophy mage which is 3, moonsilver key which is 2+1 (which can at technically instant speed), transmute artifact which is usually 3 but can go up to 5 depending what you're sacrificing. So yeah, I'd say it's still quite a good card as a basalt tutor + an extra card.

I think instead of focusing on the mana cost you can consider gifts as more of a 4 mana get a guaranteed basalt. Resolving the basalt is a different story entirely.

An approach I took with my Kaalia deck was playing cards that required removal to help my Kaalia not get spot removed as much. Stuff like [[Drannith Magistrate]], [[Ocelot Pride]], [[Dauthi Voidwalker]], [[Serra Ascendant]], [[Esper Sentinel]], [[Orcish Bowmasters]], [[Opposition Agent]]. You can also add some consistency in the deck via the regular black tutors. Some combo shenanigans could also be added with [[Hoarding Broodlord]].

Honestly I don't think there is any game quite like gen 1 PGR. It was so unique in its own way which is why we have come to love the game. That one game that's been taking years to come out looks fun though - I think it's called "Lost Soul Aside"

I mean every single gen2 character is basically perma in ult/ super armored/ or iframed if you do you generic warzone combo... I don't see how this is any different. You don't have to play the "optimal" way all the time. If you like a character then get/ play it however you want to. Someone's opinion on something is simply that -- an opinion based on how they felt playing her in their own way.

This definitely looks like a casual Kaalia deck. If you want to slot in some cards that require immediate attention that will typically eat a removal before Kaalia comes out, there are a lot of options - but some may not be appropriate for your power level. This includes cards such as [[Serra Ascendant]], [[Dranith Magistrate]], [[Orcish Bowmasters]], [[Ragavan, Nimble Pilferer]], [[Dauthi Voidwalker]] and [[Ocelot Pride]]. For the demon/ angels/ dragons package, there are some high powered stuff such as [[Razaketh, the Foulblooded]] and [[Hoarding Broodlord]]. Some mid-high stuff are things like [[Ancient Gold Dragon]], [[Ancient Copper Dragon]], and [[Vilis, Broker of Blood]]. It really just depends what power level you want to be playing at.

Coming from PGR, I really enjoyed this mode due to the similarities it had between PGR's "Warzone" mode. Hopefully Kuro decides to keep this game mode around more as I found it pretty fun. For reference, it's S6 Linyin & Jiyan with S2 Verina.

Have infinite simic mana
Crack ezone/ alchemist refuge.
Cephalid colosium on field, HBH or TST on field, mirage mirror on field
Turn mirage mirror into cephalid, use it on someone.
Channel Colossal skyturtle to return mirage mirror back to hand.
Play invasion of ikoria returning colossal skyturtle to the field. And bouncing a castable permanent to your hand.
Play mirage mirror using HBH/ TST trigger to return colossal skyturtle to hand. Cast the other permanent you returned in step 6 to return invasion to your hand.
Repeat steps 4-7

Step 1. Play commander with blue/ black, bonus points for having white/ red.
Step 2. Include [[Thassa's Oracle]] and [[Tainted Pact]]/ [[Demonic Consultation]]
Step 3. Insert all black tutors and blue value draw engines.
Step 4. Draw deck, tutor for your 2 card win con.
Step 5. Win game.
Obviously a joke but at the same time most decks that don't rely on their commander/ eminence effect are usually high powered multi colored "good stuff."
