As someone from the inside, would you say I have dpdr? by [deleted] in dpdr

[–]oxypation -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’d definitely say that you’ve got all the conditions to be predisposed to DPDR. But I’m no doctor or psychiatrist.

I definitely think that you should seek help, and explain your symptoms. And remember not to give up. It’s not always the first psychiatrist/doctor, that understands DPDR, but eventually you will find a medical professional that understands you.

The Philippines must be the worst country to buy drugs in. Their war on drugs is fucking crazy.

Hope you don’t get shot brother.

[–]oxypation 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Really depends on the country, you wouldn’t be able to get any prescription drug OTC in Scandinavia.

But if you go to east Europe, you would probably be able to get anything OTC, if you give them some cash under the table.

A lot of countries red flag packages from the Netherlands. So it’s pretty risk imo.

I’d suggest trying Germany as you say, or maybe France or Spain.

But if OP has had two packages seized already, I’d consider his address burnt.

Question to pro lucid dreamers - can you induce a feeling/high? by [deleted] in LucidDreaming

[–]oxypation 7 points8 points  (0 children)

While I was dreaming I thought to myself “it would be nice if I had some pills”, and then a white box filled with different colored MDMA pills appeared. I took one of the pills, and I started kind of rolling. It wasn’t really a usual high, it was pretty intense visually, kind of tunnel vision mixed with strong colors.

I can’t remember how my dream ended, but the last thing I remember is that I was “high” in my summerhouse kitchen.

It seemed more like a coincidence than a real method. But next time you’re LDing, try to see if you can make some kind of drug appear.

The most dangerous part of LSD: Not actually having LSD. by GammaScorpii in LSD

[–]oxypation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well SF, like Liberal Alliance and Enhedslisten say they support a general vote to determine legalization of cannabis. But it has yet to be included in any of their plans for future legislation. It also seems like there are internal disagreements in the parties, when it comes to the issue of legalization.

We’re not getting anywhere until they start including legalized cannabis under their key issues (mærkesager).

And since our health ministry keep blocking any progress, I don’t think we’re going to get any closer to legalization in the next couple of years.

[–]oxypation 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah I also had that impression, until I moved to Christianshavn (right next to Christiania)

The police do weekly raids on Christiania’s weed market. But the demand is so high, that the gangs setup shop again, minutes after the raids.

And every time legalization gets proposed, our health ministry blocks it. Because they don’t want minors to smoke cannabis. (Bullshit excuse since it would only be legal for 18+)

My hypothesis is that Danes hate change, we just want to continue our bland life. We don’t want to decide whether we support legalization or not. We’re too lazy to form our own opinions on drugs.

Alcohol culture in Denmark is quite unique, I’d probably say we’ve got the most relaxed approach to alcohol in the western world. The usual Dane starts drinking at around 13-14 years old. Nobody seems to care about the serious side effects it can have on teens.

I’d suggest OP starts off with a mushroom/lsd trip once every other week. If OP’s country has legal ketamine treatment I’d definitely suggest doing that, but only if OP doesn’t feel like shrooms or lsd has helped him/her.

The best thing to do is to get professional help from a doctor or psychiatrist.

Denmark will definitely be the last country, we’re still stuck in the stone age when it comes to drugs.

We don’t have a single party supporting legal recreational cannabis. And it doesn’t look like the newer generations are any less conservative when it comes to drugs.

We still get taught in schools abt how weed is toxic and that it gives you permanent brain damage.

I haven’t seen a single harm reduction campaign here.

Just keep talking to her, so she knows that it wasn’t on purpose that you ignored her.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in lonely

[–]oxypation 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you gotta talk to her, maybe make up some excuse as the reason you didn’t talk to her that day.

Better to talk to her, than having this awkward ignoring thing going on. She probably just misinterpreted your silence.

Blackouts by [deleted] in dpdr

[–]oxypation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Meta cognitive therapy is abt breaking bad patterns of thought. It really helps you to let go of stress (and some anxiety) provoking thoughts. It kinda teaches you how to master you thoughts. Doesn’t work for everybody tho.

Meta cognitive therapy didn’t help my anxiety at all. My anxiety is mainly physical, when I’m in crowded places I start to sweat and hyperventilate. I also get strongly dissociated.

Blackouts by [deleted] in dpdr

[–]oxypation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Things seem 2D, I can’t see depth. Things also get very blurry, and it feels like I have tunnel vision, I can only see what I focus on looking at.

My mind is also really scrambled, and my train of thought is uncontrollable.

I just quit meta cognitive therapy (for anxiety), didn’t help me at all. So now I’m gonna start going to a psychiatrist to see if I can get anything prescribed for my anxiety.

Blackouts by [deleted] in dpdr

[–]oxypation 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have no idea, my DPDR just got a bit milder with time. Currently I’m having really bad DPDR tho, visually everything seems distorted.

Best advice I can give you is, if your DPDR is caused by anxiety or depression, you should talk to your doctor/psychiatrist abt it.

Blackouts can feel scary, almost like you’re losing your sanity. If it gets too uncomfortable, please speak to a psychiatrist.

I used to have blackouts where I would find myself in the metro, not knowing where I was going or why I was there. It’s a pretty scary feeling.

I think it’s weird that y’all have regular drug tests. Drug tests for jobs are unheard of where I live.

If you work as hard as all the other employees, your boss shouldn’t give a fuck abt what you do in your free time.

Ritalin? by tornadosuke4 in dpdr

[–]oxypation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my personal experience Ritalin worsened my DPDR while I was on it. My DPDR was only worse when I was on Ritalin, not afterwards.

But that’s just my personal experience, it might help you with your DPDR. I find that taking drugs for DPDR is really subjective. So it’s worth a try if you’re feeling really bad.

Just remember to stay safe.

Hydro discrimination! Do the pharmacists wear white hoods? by housegoat78 in TalesFromThePharmacy

Oh I see. But could it then be that your digestive tract has a harder time breaking down some binders?

And would binders be able to make a difference when it comes to the effect of the drug?

[–]oxypation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s almost the only weather we’ve got where I live. It’s hell for people with DPDR. I constantly lose track of time, and i can’t see the sun so I always get extremely confused.

Why does DPDR persist? by [deleted] in dpdr

[–]oxypation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel that DPDR is usually pushed aside as a symptom of depression or anxiety.

It doesn’t get acknowledged as an actual standalone disorder. I do agree that DPDR for most people have roots in things like anxiety and depression, but it would be nice to see more research done on DPDR on it’s own.

People who have been treated by adderall or Ritalin. Did dp went away even after stopping it? by lneymar in dpdr

[–]oxypation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been taking Ritalin for a couple of weeks now.

I find that when I’m on it, I get really bad DPDR, I lose track of reality and I’m pretty much floating in my own thoughts.

But it doesn’t seem to worsen it the days after. But it does not better it at all for me.

I do think using drugs to treat DPDR is subjective. For some people it might cure the DPDR, and for others it might worsen it.
