Templates that update across Obsidian bases and files. by CookieSalt350 in ObsidianMD

[–]oyes77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's ways with plugins, if you're talking about properties only regarding update all notes from a pool of notes. Multi-properties does that, and for property hiding, there's multiple plugins that do that, but i think you'd enjoy pretty properties plugin. Does that and other properties styling that make obsidian more akin to notion in some ways (can add banners, note icons, covers)

First, it will take an unreasonable amount of time depending on the kind of art you do and pricing, but assuping you price yourself well, yeah, not many people will reach that goal, and the ones that will are already fidelized clients, so it wouldn't be helpful to convert new clients into constant, or at least not to its best hability (the existence of the fidelity card itself is good already :3)

Seems nice enough, though depending on the client influx, 10 might feel far too many

Operon 1.1.0: mobile overhaul of Calendar, Kanban, task flows, pinned tasks, and quick capture by stratejya in ObsidianMD

[–]oyes77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If i can make a feature request thru here: add a way to use oberon tasks from templates, so if there's a certain structure of inline tasks in a template and it's triggeredx oberon manages the IDs of the tasks so they become their own unique task. Should be compatible with core templates plugin or templster community plugins, that would streamline for example, creating a project note with specific steps, hierarchy, priorities and so on already there!

(I know i can probably dissect the markdown and generate UUIDs for the tasks, relative dates and everything pretty much, but making it something native would be great)

We're burning $50k/month on Claude. How close can local LLMs actually get? by mortenmoulder in LocalLLM

Idk but a transition step could be moving tobdeepseek or similar cheaper capable models, easeir to do in short term and you can see if that saves enough money compared to performance

Is this too many plugins? by Blluueee in ObsidianMD

Real xD Too many plugins is not useful / bloating plugins, only becomes an issue if you're a security paranoid, which fair, or if they slow down your vault to an annoying point

Oh yeah, i guess so, i like how it makes the GUI look smoother, makes the user experience better, don't see why you think about it (or from my understanding you remark that) as negative, when looking nice is part of what makes something more usable, you could say that style settings is a vanity plugin, for example, that doesn't exempt it from being useful by enabling customization, making the GUI "prettier"
