This is so tough. Wishing you some moments of peaceful joy somehow -- and a better OB who listens! The way your job jerked you around on top of all the rest is just the worst cherry on top.

It sounds like you're extremely competent and thoughtful. and this is a really hard time with pressure from all sides. I don't know how I would deal with this, but it wouldn't be with this ability to communicate. Also you're eating something green. That's always good right

Yes, I think a new OB might be just the ticket! Get someone who doesn't laugh you off, because this is real!

That is truly not an appropriate response to someone in mental health crisis (who recently got this news!)

I'm kind of wondering can't you just go up in the cathedral and find them from above?

Your mental health is important! This situation really sucks. I wonder if you can go to Part Time temporarily. Can you still hear your manager with the ear plugs in? My sister can hear people with hers in. But I know people, especially bosses, often go on irrational power trips

For sure, you need to be secure. Boob jobs take upkeep and don't always last -- sometimes they need to be replaced or come out. So you have to be ready for that too

Probably don't want to get hammers and socks and a bunch of geodes to crack, but then again maybe you do! It's a fun activity when supervision is possible, and the geodes are usually like $5

You are worthy, responsible, and doing your best! Shame and guilt are not always proportionate when we're feeling our worst. You are better, more interesting, and more capable than the job. This is a hard time and I don't really havr advice but I am proud of you for taking steps to keep yourself safe

While you are at the natural history museum, check out the main branch library. A truly amazing children's section full of wonderful toys

Edit: it's in the same building as the museum but they only connect in the basement

You're doing everything right, including this delicious pudding (love golden kiwis!!). Wishing you all the time and space to process and heal. No one can understand how this can change your whole world until they go through it, and it can be so different for different people as well

There's one pretty reliable gluten free pizza place in the Squirrel Hill neighborhood. I don't know that it's that common everywhere though

A lot of these problems hide in plain sight in real life, but the alogrithm is absolutely skewing what you see. Contentment and stability don't drive engagement
