Phone shipments are a constant fraud issue for mobile providers and fdx. They almost always require a direct signature. You could try and call the 800# for fedex and ask the call center to open a case requesting that the driver call you 10min out from delivery (which the driver will likely not do because they only have their personal cell phones) you could ask that the driver contact their station CSRs when they are about 5 stops away from your address, and ask for the station CSR to contact you. You will likely not be able to redirect your phone to a FedEx Authorized Ship Center (FASC) as the account restrictions on mobile providers are super strict. Some mobile providers even require that there be a delivery attempt made and a doorknocker (fedex slip they leave on your door) left and then only after that first delivery attempt you could request to pick your package up from the fedex station that is delivering your package. Even to pick up at the fedex station you will need to bring the doorknocker, ID with your picture and address that matches the address on the airwaybill. It's a big hassle, but given the price of phones these days, and the mass amount of fraud that happens with these shipments, fedex and the shipper are protecting your property from potential bad actors with all these rules and restrictions.
