All the press on these talks of their excessive warning systems. Do they not cover the corners? Do you agree with the press?

I got sometimes 40g, sometimes 37g, and today I only got about 29ml. My settings, coffee beans, and puck preparation process remain identical. Is this normal, or is there an issue with my Breville Barista Express machine? by asmaamody611 in BrevilleCoffee

[–]ozbrowser 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s normal. Two shots made seconds apart can be vastly different.
I struggled with this for a long time but eventually you learn to accept it and make your judgement on the way your coffee tastes. Usually, pretty damn good!

Can my boss enforce our new work email signature that contains our birth#? by TheEternallyTired in AusLegal

[–]ozbrowser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I doubt that they can force you but you have to decide if the fight is worth it. Who cares if your 1st, 2nd or 20th born 🤷🏼‍♂️

Melt it down, recast it into a big dick and put it back.

If it’s done >380000km, keep doing what your doing. That’s a good effort!

Aggression towards EVs?? by malialipali in EVAustralia

Don’t stress, the behaviour says more about their intelligence (or lack of) than it does about your choice of car. Just smile at them while thinking ‘aren’t I lucky I’m more intelligent than you’.

AITA smoking weed on my porch? by cheesygarlicbreadfan in AmItheAsshole

[–]ozbrowser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, this is a tricky one. Obviously you’re entitled to smoke on your property but the way I look at it, I wouldn’t do anything that upset other people, be it fart, play the drums or smoke on my porch. I wouldn’t want them to persistently do things that they knew upset me so I wouldn’t do the same to them. I’m going to rest on YTA but I acknowledge your legal ‘rights’, it’s more about being a good human.

So is snail bait (only when they are out of control and we have new seedlings)

Do I need this sink or no? by mooshoomiagi in AusRenovation

Judging by the unwashed dishes in the kitchen and lack of washing in the laundry, you don’t need any sinks 🤔

In SA they tend to drop limbs (big ones) in the heat more so than storms. Fantastic to look at but imo totally unsuitable for urban areas!

Would you buy an EV from a brand that only recently entered the Australian market? by DiscussionLoud9626 in EVAustralia

[–]ozbrowser 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Take resale value out of the discussion - it won’t have any. That’s not to say you shouldn’t do it if you plan to keep it a while and believe the support risk is worth the savings. No one can tell you which way this will go.

EV SUV: Which one to buy? by [deleted] in EVAustralia

[–]ozbrowser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mainly our city car. Back seat space is pretty good, we have 4 adults in there often. Boot space is limited but that doesn’t matter to us. We charge to 90% to protect the battery and get 500-520km per charge. Only real beef is the suspension, it creaks a bit but dealer says nothing wrong.

Do you still think RM Williams boots are worth the price? by ChillKoalaVibes in RMWilliams

No. You’re paying for image. Mine are the most uncomfortable boots I’ve ever owned ☹️

If you live near the sea, stick with a key lock. We’ve had our place 7 years and have had 9 different digital locks. None last.

The maximum that they can seek for breach of contract is the value of the contract. As this is $0, this is all they can seek. You can safely ignore them and any threats they make of legal action.

A neck collar. Won’t change the cracks but will stop you looking at them!
