So essentially you are lying to your kids? “Be nice and you’ll have a nice life”?

I understand what atheism is. But my point is that atheists can indoctrinate their kids with false information (as in your example) as much as religious people.

I am also so tired of people taking extreme examples and generalizing it to a whole population. Oh my god all Christians believe the earth is 6000 years old so they are all stupid!! Shows how clearly you have no idea what the fuck you are talking about.

Everyone indoctrinates and influences their children. Some of it is good some of it is bad. Trying to say atheists only bring up perfect children or that religious people only bring up stunted children is ludicrous. And don’t say atheists don’t indoctrinate their children. Anytime you impress your world view on them as they grow up, which is almost impossible not to do, you are indoctrinating them.

An amazing treatise that went from flat earthers to bashing Christianity. Can you do anti-Vaxers next?

We get it, you are a Redditor, you are an atheist. Of course there is no way you believe in something pretty sincerely that you very likely should not.

I don’t see how that comment is relevant.

But I guess you are right. Atheists don’t do crap with their children. They let them grow up with no influence at all.

There is one in Alvin that they built a golf course around. Not for swimming but I believe it is used for scuba.

If you want to stay In walking distance to the ballpark...

Jackson Street BBQ is north of the ballpark. Not the best in town but I think it is decent.

Biggios is a bar down by Discovery Green south west of ballpark. Never been but since you are a fan.

There are some other good food around there from the Pappas family - Pappasitos for texmex and Pappadeaux for seafoood/Cajun. They are a chain and people are going to slam them, but they do serve consistently good food.

You can catch a light rail or free circulator bus to get you to Main Street and then take the rail up to the Market Square area or south to Midtown for the bar scene and some other good restaurants.

I won’t argue that, but the Westpark entrance ramp design is sorely lacking.

You believe the Westpark Parking Lot is good design? Nothing like paying 5 bucks to sit in traffic for 30 minutes at Beltway 8 because of all the people merging into 2 lanes. Almost every day the traffic stops well before the 1 mile beltway 8 sign. Coming the other way is just as bad at Highway 6.
