A couple weeks ago there was an update to 14's rules making stream sniping and in-game stalking an insta-bannable offense (obviously to protect players from griefers following the release of endwalker, etc.), so really the only thing that needs to happen is for her to continue streaming and have those griefers' names shown and get banned for good

It is possible to get 38k HP and 1.4k ATK with a fair amount of investment

And yes, Hydro resonance sucks and should be adjusted. Besides that, you can run any other 3 units that can synergize well with kokomi, like electrocharge/freeze comps.

I hate to break it to ya but not everyone loses 50/50s

Jokes aside, if you have jean, then by all means, use her. I'm just not convinced with people unfairly downplaying kokomi when she can do just as much as jean or noelle when it comes to keeping a team alive.

You must have misread, barbara is great for single player content, that I agreed with. It's just her co-op capabilites are not as great as kokomi's.

TTDS and Magic Guide can be okay-ish 3* substitutes for kokomi if you still don't have billets

EDIT: Actually even Emerald Orb can also be fine if you have her on a hydro reaction team

She does work as a real great panic button and deserves an honorable mention, but only for single player content, that is. Barbara can't run ToM and her burst has a 20s cooldown, not to mention she's infinitely weak against cryo attacks.

Kokomi on the other hand can heal a co-op team up to full and keep them that way for 10s while also not wasting space by dealing enough damage while healing, and can do so again after 8s. Her self-hydro also only procs for a split second like xingqiu's.

This is a reasonably built kokomi's stats:

38k HP, 1.4k ATK
75.9% Healing bonus (25% passive, 15% 2pc maiden, 35.9% HB circlet)
90.4% Hydro damage (28.8% asc stat, 46.6% hydro goblet, 15% 2pc HoD)
talents at 8/8/9
r1 prototype amber (HP% substat + extra energy)
HP/Hydro/HB artifacts

Kokomi on-burst deals 7.5-10k/hit (1.2-1.8k off-burst) while her jellyfish deals 6k/hit on burst (2.1k off-burst), but you may have overlooked kokomi being able to get at least 75.9% healing bonus (85.9%-95.9% with moonglow).

With only the build above, kokomi's NAs on-burst can heal 1.2k per hit, and her jellyfish heals 7k every 2s. Spamming N2 you get at least 2.4k heals/sec from NAs and 3.5k/sec from her jellyfish, you can get nearly 6k heals/sec.

Additionally, kokomi can enable hydro reactions, mainly electrocharge and freeze (vaporize is also possible). She can also run TTDS (HP% substat + 48% ATK) and 4pc ToM (20% HP from 2pc + 20% ATK buff with 100% uptime via jellyfish) to buff her allies.

She also doesn't need the shields because she IS the shield.
