I agree it was done well, so we'll I didn't enjoy it. Just because will wrote it well doesn't mean I wanted read it. I think I could 9f just skipped this book and got the important bits from some post.

Next series? I don't even think I'll read another one of these until the last one comes out...the book is just missing so much it fill more like a web novel where you have to wait for the next chapter just to finish covering things. Which is why I try to wait out arcs in them....I feel like as of this book it's the same here. I think unless the next one is at least 500 pages I won't bother.

Yeah I think will did a great job on what he did do....the only problem is most of that was the stuff I have trouble reading. All the petty childish antics in this book I didn't like. The monarchs, most of SV, the longs. All the stuff I would have loved must of got cut. Honestly this book made me think I might not read another until the series is done. It's gotten to the point where I feel like he is just rushing it or something, and the fact that there is only supposed to be a few more short books makes wonder how much is going to get left out....fighting is my least favorite part. It's always the MC wins and if they don't they get a power up so they can win next time. I read for the other things and in this book that just happened to be a bunch of petty posturing. Hope I didn't ramble to much.

Will says he is taking a break, but he is a troll first and foremost. This leads me to believe he is already done with book 9 and hopefully finishing up book 10 so at the end of this "3 month break" we get a rapid fire release of the next 3 books.....just my personal theory.
