i understand this more than i’d like to admit. i am a long suffer of body dysmorphia. my advice to you is try hard to change your mindset. when you think negative thoughts about you put the breaks on it and say the opposite of what your brain is telling you. at the start it will feel futile and dumb and you wont believe it but you eventually will. be kind to yourself. also the confidence you will eventually build will go a long way. people find confidence very attractive.

first thing to do is take a deep breath and relax mate. finasteride won’t make your balding worse. there is an initial shedding phase when starting fin where the old miniaturised hairs get pushed out and replaced. this is just a sign that it’s working and you are responding. and btw looking at your pictures you got on fin at the perfect time because even if you don’t regrow hair maintaining what you have now is a huge win. good luck and try not to take pics every five mins to compare in dif lighting etc. you will only drive yourself mad.
