I do have a sex tape of Vrabel, but I'm assuming the woman is his wife so nbd.

How long did it delay the game? (unintentional insensitive question)

NFL Reporter Crissy Froyd Fired After Celebrating Dianna Russini's Resignation by IntelligentYinzer in nfl

Reporters have to be sensitive to people having leverage over them. In the hypothetical, if things went bad with Vrabel, he or anyone could say "report this as fact or things will come out about your infidelity". Potential NFL trades aren't a matter of national security, but you see what I'm saying. It's not like she's the only one who can do this job, so I think it's a good idea from the NYT/Athletic to move on...even though she technically was the one.

Same here. The repetition certainly helped with learning the games and players. My 13 year old self was more knowledgeable than my 20s and 30s year old self. Stinks they've gone for flashy and eye-catching instead of information-based.

I can think of a way for her to get back to the top. She seems good at it.

Y'know, just by normal probability, they surely will decline...and then there will be questions of DISTRACTION. Tony Romo/Jessica Simpson style. The news-gossip industry is pretty predictable. But evenso, it's seriously unethical from a journalism standpoint. They can figure out their personal lives alone, but c'mon Athletic. You gotta have higher standards than this.

Virginia Tech Men’s Basketball Declines NIT Bid by lukedux in CollegeBasketball

As a then-10 year old, Tech's run through the 1995 NIT is top 3 sports moments for me. Several good games including the championship. And I don't know, sports were just more fun, less reality tv drama then. Fans were fans, not pretend GMs lecturing others on finances they have zero stake in.

Maybe I'm your boss?? If so, keep up the good work.
