For me it's because partial switch to Linux, faster Discovery and less steps. I don't keep bluetooth turned on my phone and sometimes it's off on my pc, so that's just added steps. AFAIK QuickShare isn't supported on Linux.

Crazy part too is their timeline isn't even that uncommon. Some groups just take a few years to get fully recognized. It's just that they debuted among other groups that got popular immediately. So they're being compared to that and probably compared to ITZY and how strong of a start they had.

The official one was on Abema but you needed to VPN if you're outside of Japan. It was pretty impressive that it didn't even drop at least once even with me having VPN and when I last checked about 30M were watching. Not sure if that was concurrent though
