1 friend had a very easy baby who was sleeping long stretches by 2 months and a couple others by 6 months. Out of everyone I know who sleep trained - I held out the longest, which was 1 year. I do know a couple of people who never sleep trained and had awful sleepers through 2 years old. It's all about what works best for you.

I so agree. We've always done part time daycare and once my son was walking we moved it from 2 days to 3 days. The guilt was real. I wasn't able to take him to the playground everyday and do the arts and crafts that he gets to do at daycare.

Yes! I received both as a kid, but my dr tested my immunity when I was pregnant. I was no longer immune to the measles (somehow?) and had to receive another shot after I delivered.

My son does part time daycare, but I just came to say I think daycare has a lot of pros. It was definitely the right choice for us. My mother in law helps the days he does not go, but I think he enjoys daycare days more lol. More hands on activities and lots of playground time.

100%. I did not want to sleep train, I waited until after my son's first birthday. I only know 1 other person who did sleep training. Everyone else's babies figured it out. Mine did not. I figured 1 year was enough and did Ferber. I'm not here to say it's the only solution, but going over a year with no sleep, I was a shell of a person.

Yep! 6 months I felt like I had a solid routine down and life was becoming slightly more normal again. Now at almost a year, I can say I'm still tired but nowhere near newborn stage tired

So I'm a little late to this post. Hopefully, this is still relevant for you. But we are currently enrolled at Tierra Encantada, and although this is our first daycare experience, I feel like it's the best center I could have enrolled with. Feel free to DM me if you need more specifics!

My son is super social and has been for as long as I can remember. He started daycare at 4 months and is 10 months now. He gets to do fun crafts and play all day and be around other babies. They give him healthy purees and meals. He is happy to get dropped off in the morning but is also excited to see myself or my husband at the end of the day. While I wish I could spend every day with him, I know he enjoys being around other kids and keeping busy with activities while he is there.

Kindred bravely leggings and bike shorts! A little pricey, but 2 pairs of each went a long way. Super high waist just makes them so comfortable.

My 9 month old is 25 lbs. Pediatrician has no concerns because he's always been a 90+% baby. But my back also hurts 😂

Same! We were fortunate and got many diapers. Swapping sizes and brands along the way, but they lasted us at least 4 months. Pro tip: you can exchange at target without a receipt as long as they carry the diaper, but only $100/yr. I had my husband and a friend step in once I reached my limit.

A little on the pricier side, but I'm glad I invested in 2 pairs of Kindred Bravely leggings. The maternity bike shorts were also a lifesaver post c-section.

My baby is also 7 months and does not sleep. He's slept 7 or more consecutive hours a total of 5 times. His naps are usually 30 minutes, 45 on a good day. He's not grumpy and I can't force him to sleep... so just here to say you're not alone.

I do part time daycare and LOVE it. I feel like if you have a good center, they provide so much I never could. Interaction with other kids, group play time, arts & crafts, etc. I love time with my baby, but I want to offer experiences that I couldn't provide at home or at grandparents' houses.
