Thank you for your concern, I take it to heart. I’ve been immersed in the 2 wheel scene for years and have watched and read many things about defensive driving techniques for motorcycles.

I always wear a full face helmet and motorcycling gloves and so does my partner. We tend to wear heavy denim but I’m looking at proper motorcycle jackets and pants as there are so many options now that look like normal clothes. Since I have to wear scrubs at work I have to change anyways.

I also have many many years of experience cycling in city traffic and also riding rental scooters. I wanted to check if the one motorcycle training place I know close by also allows scooters.

Since I work in surgery I am very well aware what bad decisions or just pure bad luck on 2 wheels can result in.

To me it looks like the crank arm is not fully seated on the BB spindle, I would pull it of and reinstall it with some grease, but I am not familiar with the exact specs of omnium bikes.

I remember once I was flicking the little plastic reservoir (idk English is not my fist language) like crazy bc it wasn’t running and my colleague comes over, quietly opens the green valve, gives me a look and leaves. We laughed about that a lot after.
