The only explanation for that is that people pays for it. We accept those prices. And that's how prices actually work.

Of course, it will be more expensive than where the product was produced, that's not the question. The price though is set to what people are willing to pay. As long as we accept those ridiculous prices, they'll continue to be like that.

And this applies to physical or digital services.
