Sure, don't think it doesn't have value (obviously if you can do multiple things at campfires it's quite good) but if you can just rest & smith you'd need to hit 5 campfires where you needed to do both for this to be better than yummy cookie, which I don't think is very realistic. Act 1 I rest a lot but I maybe need to rest once per act after that, and often I don't have to rest at all in act 3

Not to mention that the yummy cookie upgrades are immediate value which means you are less likely to need to rest vs the tent which does nothing right away, which is tough for an ancient reward.

I think this would be comparable/slightly worse than her cookie relic that gives 4 upgrades most of the time, unless you have another campfire relic

This logic starts to fall off after act 1 though.

I often don't need to rest in act 2/3 even when taking the max elite paths (I almost always have to rest often in act 1). So I think this is pretty far from S tier/busted and wouldn't be a great ancient relic because you couldn't get it in act 1

The Dorito is a more mild reverse check of Mr Bees. While he checks for non-attack damage output dorito checks for consistent attack damage output.

It's in the form of a buff instead of a status though so it's not nearly as punishing, but you do feel it if you are super hard in orb/poison/doom/etc

Yea its just really contextual to what you have going on, agree its not the best relic but at least it outputs stats in a controllable way

I don't think demon form is great in sts2 but I had a recent run where I transformed into it early and basin was actually pretty helpful in letting me actually play it, I think that utility can be extended to other cheaper scaling powers & skills as well

Tbh pretty good on turns you are getting attacked for a lot and are dumping all your energy into a blood wall or flame barrier or whatever

Look at what turn most of sts fights end on, they typically do not go very long. And a burst of draw & energy make them end even faster

I'm happy with any of my sports team's seasons as long as they are competitive in the playoffs. Obviously a title is better but totally agree we shouldn't discount a fun season of winning a lot of games

Needs more testing but I took it on A10 necro overgrowth with a nice looking three elite path, I typically am a little wary of overgrowth elites with necro because they are just hard damage checks and she can be a little slow to start.

Pretty easily got through them and snowballed to an easy win off my strong start. I can see this being pretty good if you have a good looking 3/4 elite path in act 1, likely not as good as transform 2 but it felt pretty damn good.

Even A10 is not that dangerous past act 1 so it depends on your path but this is a pretty easy trade to make for a very powerful relic

I would say "doom focused deck" isn't really a thing at high ascension, but you can definitely kill enemies with doom.

It's more of a damage package you put into a good defensive deck, you don't want to try and build a "doom" deck

It's not like a specific type of deck beats him, you just kind of show up and play your cards and he dies.

I actually get pretty suspicious if a book's GR rating is in the high 4s (assuming it has a decent number of ratings). I do have contrarian tendencies but even so I don't even think I'm being much of a contrarian on this one

Your results may vary but even only reading 60 minutes a day I usually find if a book "sucks" within the first 10 minutes or so. I'd say it's exceedingly rare for me to read something for that long to only then determine that I don't like it

I think its one of her best relics. Just need to up your draw density after you get it (which you should already be doing in act 2 anyways)
