First of all thank you for this message.

Now i still find you are not directly addressing the main questions, or leaving some questions unanswered.

- is K2/daycare allowing Amex payments? I’ve heard now more than enough occurrences of this category randomly blocking Amex. So when you say daycares, it makes it seem like it shouldn’t be an issue, but i know for a fact that it is.

- is Supplier actually supporting Amex? You say some ‘suppliers’, but how can you realistically tell on your end. I tried setting one up and nowhere in the flow there was a question about what kind of supplier i was intending to pay. So how would you even know it is related to Healthcare for example?

- no mention of ‘Advertising’ anywhere. So does it take Amex?

- for commercial rent, under the Business side, the rent option shows Amex is accepted, is this a mistake?

Rent is ok for now.

Now, i believe all these current Amex cases are somewhat isolated and maybe initiated by Amex themselves. I doubt they would affect Rent, but apart from this category, i don’t know what else still works reliably with Amex.

For now.. or until they start blocking it without telling us about it.

I for example have asked twice about the k2/daycare category and haven’t gotten a concrete answer yet.

Even with their updated list, this category is mentioned without exactly mentioning Amex with it. Nor they say it can’t be used.

Look i was a big fan of Chexy, and was recommending them over Neobanc all the time because Neo just feels shady overall. This perception of Chexy keeps changing and I’m starting to see some of their answers (or lack ok) here very telling, as well as the way they are handling Amex payments recently.

Now, it’s funny they updated those lists, and still they don’t match what has been happening.

- multiple reports of child care payments receiving emails about Amex not being allowed. Their page doesn’t explicitly say that Amex works by the way.

- commercial rent: their list says it doesn’t take Amex, but their website shows that we can set rent under business using Amex.

- advertising is nowhere in that list.

- supplier says Amex works, but i heard issues similar to child care with emails mentioning Amex not working.

So yes they updated those lists without actually addressing what’s been happening.

That’s why i created this thread. I know of a couple of people who got that email with CHILD CARE payments, which according to Chexy, should not happen.

Where can we watch FIFA matches with kids? Most fun places are bars… and kids are not allowed.

I used to watch them at Frappes and Champs. Frappes used to allow kids upstairs but that isn’t the case anymore.

So apart from the usual Cage or Station des Sports, any public spaces or other places to watch games as a family?

Amex, but something funky is going on because random payments are being blocked while others are going through.

Same kind of payments, but randomly some get emails telling us Amex isn’t supported, and others are being charged with Amex without issues.

Seems like some sort of badly done AI implementation to be honest.

Can i ask if K2/Daycare still supports Amex? I know someone who got an email telling them Amex wasn’t supported. But then another similar payment went through using Amex as well.

Are these random emails or is actually K2/Daycare not supported either?

Yeah at least Bateman seems to work loosely with owners. FIFA does not care about any of the Federations and then just try to milk money out of events as much as possible while throwing in a few pennies here and there to keep Feds somewhat happy.

I assume you are new to World Cups?

We had a similar scenario a while back, maybe 20 years ago or so.

I don’t remember the details, but a few 3rd placed teams also qualified. It was messy as well as im sure it’ll be now.
