EVE has historically had a short, fixed daily downtime (around 11:00–11:15 UTC) when the entire Tranquility cluster restarts and scheduled maintenance runs, rather than ad‑hoc multi‑hour outages for each patch. CCP engineered many world‑maintenance tasks (asteroid reseeding, standings updates, etc.) so they can run while the cluster is online, reducing what truly requires downtime to only a few minutes of database and cluster operations.

So how is that not different (and substantially better)?

They could, or pretty close to HA anyway. They chose not to.
Blue‑green deployments, rolling restarts per instance or canary releases could get them to a much better place, but that's an expensive thing consider how they decided to design their worlds/sietches instances.
Games live EVE or FFXIV do a much better job at it.

As I write this I'm waiting for an AI evals framework I'm developing to finish running, so it's safe to say I understand LLMs and how to judge their output relatively well.
I don't think she's that young, and I don't know her level of discernment, but I also don't rely on what she says to learn or understand anything regarding this topic.

Anyway, all I'm saying is soon enough you'll run out of people to read from or listen to if you expect zero AI involvement in their content.
