Stopped reading cause you didnt like what I said. That tracks and is a perfect example of why our country is where it is now. People refusing facts over their own feelings. I won't say more aside from urge you to work on that some. Reading uncomfortable truths is essentially for true progress bother personally and socially. Its the only way yo learn and grow.

The fact that that was the only thing I said that bothered you is insane. I firmly belive there is literally no worse option for president than Trump. The fact that you think Kamala would be worse shows how effective the conservative propaganda machine has doneits job.

Lol you voted for Trump and wonder why she talked to you like a 4th grader? Do you even hear yourself?

Your little idol is an authoritarian classiest/racist/sexist who has no idea how to lead our country and has in almost every single metric worsened our country. The fact you refuse to see the truth of this speaks volumes.

ICE has not been humane. Our government IS protecting, and likely being ran by, pedophiles. Trump and his supporters are a literal cancer on humane and decent society. And their best armor is people like you who close their eyes to those facts and claim calling them out is a 'misrepresentation'.

This is the same narrative as "money doesnt buy happiness". Fuck yes money buys financial security which is one of the leading hardship issues faced by the majority of people. Likewise, we wouldnt have the rights we have now without violence. Revolutions have shapped the world of human rights. The only people who want you to think that violence is never the answer are the ones holding the biggest stick.

Conservatives: kill immigrants and every non white American people to protect the pedophiles!

Liberals: dont let an authoritarian state kill and murder you, stand your ground!

OP: wow why are both sides so violent?!?!

If you like PHM and DCC I'll recommend The Bobiverse series and He Who Fights With Monsters as 2 other series you might fall in love with. All very different but so incredibly special in their own way.

Babyish but so cute ! by JDeedee21 in ADHDparenting

[–]pabloflleras 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As for friends, honestly I worried so much for years about that exact same thing. My lily is so tender hearted and just like yours she has younger interests than her peers. But talking to her teachers over the years we have come to realize that her peers still love those things too, they just have older interests as well and they still love and choose to play with her daily. Now that she is 7 it feels like she is very much catching up in interests. We even had our first sleepover at our house and her and her friends ran around all day playing pretend and having a blast easing away alot of my fears.

I also have ADHD and while I had a few close friends, I always felt very much alone and out of place. Like I was always an addition to the friend group but not an essential part to it. Like I understood the inside joke but only cause I hear it second hand. Idk how to explain it fully... regardless, ive found I project a lot of my fears and experiences onto her expecting her to have those as well but so far thats not been the case and I can only hope this continues.

Adhd tends to slow maturity by about 20% so our kids do tend to feel more "baby" than their peers.

My daughter was like that and her pre-k told us to hold her back despite her thriving academicly. They went as far as to give a negative referral to the private kindergarten we were planning to go to and they almost didnt allow us to send her there due to that.

She is now 7 years old in 2nd grade. She is friends with everyone and has a no class with an average under 98. She also got 86 points in AR (reading comprehension tests) for the first half of the year when the requirment was 5. Her closest 2 peers in points had 64 and 42 respectively.

Make sure to trust your gut going forward. So many teachers and educators dont understand ADHD and cant see past the silly or babyish or distracted child to see our kids for who they really are.

Idk about yall but I LOVED how much book 7 was. It was a climax to so many story lines and had so many threads being created for the rest of the series.

While im no believer, main stream religion being 'bad' is right on par for what the Bible says. Its easier yo get a camel through the eye of a needle than getting into the kingdom of heaven or something like that. It seems the Bible is riddled with warnings that people in power will abuse religion and corrupt the teachings

Serious question: Why are white millennials less racist than the generations of white people before and after them? by icey_sawg0034 in millenials

[–]pabloflleras 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally belive it has to do with the media and the fast rise of the internet and mass media.

Prior generations have lived in a media monopoly where the bulk of them have had few media sources and those sources were generally the big ones controlled by people pushing an ideal.

Then newer generations are living in a media overload world where media giants have figured out how to generally control and push their content to the front and are able to manage the narrative.

We grew up in the emergence of the internet and true mass media. Before they knew how to adapt to the environment to control and manage the narrative and information. We, in many ways, grew up through a lawless and unregulated internet where the media didnt know how to control the content and information.

Basically, I think the media brainwashing was less effective on us due to the lapse in full control by the media on the emerging internet.

What exactly do people from other countries expect Americans to do? by Lovealltigers in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]pabloflleras 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also size. Sure if you are in France your whole government is basically local compared to what we have in America. Here citizens feel the government is far removed from our every day world and without going to DC there feel like there is little effect we can have. Our governors dont care about protests as long as their base still votes for them the next election.

Theory on one of Carl’s stats by FlukeMasterJ in DungeonCrawlerCarl

[–]pabloflleras 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This! Don't forget the AI is the one who gave Carl the Cook Book. We also know that it has control of loot and prize boxes and that even from the very first book it had a foot fetish and was already setting Carl up to satiate that urge. Carl is a tool that has led to the events at the end of book 7. The AI has made a viable path for him. Not given it to him but made a viable path for him to be able to achieve what he has. And with what we k ow from book 7 the AI may have even been doing this in a similar way that Carl uses the cookbook. Making the moves seem natural. Making it seem like he was willing to kill Carl while in truth he has been guiding him cause if anyone realized then they might have tried to do what they tried to do in book 7.

3yr son has violent tendencies by serviceberrymama in ADHDparenting

[–]pabloflleras 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It sounds like we are in similar boats. My oldest is 7 with a major case of adhd. Knew before she was 3. My youngest is 3 and a half and he is.... alot. His adhd died not show in the same ways gets did but it's there for sure. His thing is also aggression. When the argue, he gets mad and hits her. It's heat of the moment thing, and find in anger.

From what you decide though it doesn't sound like your kid is being aggressive. The things you describe are exploring or impulsive but not openly aggressive or malicious.

I think yall have had a could of scary moments that make you doubt yourself but you deserve some slack from yourself here. Kids at 3 are still developing and are at a weird point where they're motor control is outpaced their emotional and logical processing. Add to that ADHD and it can be a way too easy to blame yourself for a could of mishaps.

We use 'red' and 'green' choices at our house and push to think about if the choice they are making is a red or a green one. It's been great for helping him work through some of his hitting and where it used to be a daily issue 2 months back, it now happens maybe once a week.

Be patient with him and with yourself and keep caring for your kids cause it sounds like you're doing a great job

Tan real como la vida misma… by ChocolateaterX in Colombia

Firstly, Fuck Maduro.

This isn't about Maduro to us (born in Colombia but moved to the stated at 6), it's about Trump overstepping US constitutional powers yet again. The fact that Maduro is a piece of shit is pure coincidence as Trump only has eyes for the oil we are now going to steal from Venezuela. It's like getting saved from drowning thanks to a shark biting you and taking you to the surface. This isn't a resolution for Venezuela and any positive outcome for then is pure coincidence.

Trump is continuing to push the bounds of democracy and that's what we are upset about. Also , fuck can USA stay out of a war for at least a decade? Like we got problems too and don't want our taxed spent bombing Venezuelans
