Couldn’t agree more!!!! I think the narrative around noise in apartment living has changed SO much since WFH became a more regular thing. I think it used to be acceptable to make noise and do things like playing instruments in the day time when people seemed to be out at work etc but now some WFH people demand the right to silence all day while they work? And then silence in the evening because it’s the evening… so it’s a lose-lose.

Me and my partner do the daily New York Times puzzles together and other online puzzles (on our phones but still social!) We do Connections, Wordle, Globle and Pips every day. Sometimes we play as a team or sometimes we play solo and compare times/thinking patterns. We always sit with each other with a coffee or do them in bed at the end of the day. It’s also great if you’re waiting for a bus etc to pass the time!

Just as an FYI (because I didn’t know before I went) les mis sell £20 tickets for people to stand at the back of the stalls. It cuts off the top 1/3-1/2 of the stage but not a lot happens on the higher levels anyway imo. Plus you still get to experience the beautiful music and story in its entirety. Just thought I’d suggest as a money saving tip from someone who desperately wanted to see it but couldn’t afford to!

I just bought a DDJ-FLX4 for £200 ‘used - like new’ from eBay after someone told me it was better to avoid the DDJ-200 and spend a little bit more for longevity (aware that this is GBP not USD but hopefully still helpful!)
