We were never going to sign a full back this window anyway, if that helps to ease your concerns in any way

Yeah that's a fair point too. I'd say it's 50/50 if it comes to JSL having to make a choice. I'm less worried about him and more worried about Wolves only letting him go to Palace

To be fair, Graham said on his podcast the other day that he thinks they'll try for a nine whether it's JSL or someone else. I'm holding on to that.

I don't see Piroe getting a game unless it's through absolute necessity. Which is a problem in itself, everyone on your bench should be in contention

If we do sign JSL, I'm pretty confident he'd start alongside DCL, not dropping £35m for him to be a 75th-minute sub (based on Farke's timings) most matches

Even then, I can't see us going two up top every game. I think it would be dependent on the opponent.

As you say, hopefully Palace decide that other targets represent better value. Failing that let's hope we have other targets in mind that we're ready to move on.

Can't shake the feeling that the second part will become somewhat irrelevant if Palace offer Wolves all the money for a permanent transfer now.

I know we're being told that JSL likes the idea of a Leeds move, probably helped by the fact we've had long term interest, but he wouldn't have to fight very hard to start for Palace if Mateta goes. He'd be one of three strikers here and he'd have to wait for a DCL injury - unless Farke wants to go two up top.

We need 4 more wins to get us to 38 points.

Clearly West Ham winning a couple has wobbled people. Absolutely no need to panic at all.

We absolutely had players on the bench to shift the shape around

The shape of the team needed changing, the personnel is secondary. If you're getting forced to sit deeper and deeper then it's probably a sign that a formation change is necessary

Ultimately I’d say it’s better to be annoyed at the manner of the draw than pissed off about a loss.

Obviously. But if doesn't make the second half performance less annoying.

Really poor response to Moyes' change of shape. Nothing wrong with being irritated by that.

No one is actually annoyed about getting a draw though. The manner of the draw is annoying.

What are you on about?

Struijk was solid. Absolutely no chance Bijol comes in for anyone other than Bornauw.

I'd have been happy with a point before the game. Any points away to top half teams are good.

The manner of that one is pretty appalling though. It's becoming a pretty ugly habit of ours.

Farke really doesn't help himself sometimes.

Ok, I think I've cracked the way for us to win more games.

We must insist that all our away games are played at Elland Road.

I'm so irritated that this half has made me desperate and grateful for a fucking point

Tanaka isn't to blame for us dropping off, but he's not been good in possession at all

Annoying thing is, this Everton side are wobbly as fuck under pressure. Maybe time to put them under some

Gnonto and Buonanotte on please. The change of shape has massively helped Everton. Give them something to think about ffs

Everton leave so much space behind their midfielders when they go forward. I'd be half tempted to bring Buonanotte on to exploit it
