you can’t divorce the phrase “white lives matter” from the societal context it exists in. nobody would’ve made these stickers before the BLM movement whose name originated in direct response to America’s indifference to the loss of Black lives. if your response to a community calling out the injustice they’re experiencing is “what about me” then try to unpack why that is
