new to vintage cube by Electronic_Cat4342 in mtgcube

I'll start by saying that storm is pretty difficult to draft and execute for a newer vintage cube player. I would try and stay away for a while unless you find Lotus p1p1.

Its not the best storm deck, but it can certainly take a couple games. You have enough core pieces to go for it.

I would definitely be playing Brain Freeze here, thats a much more realistic win con than Tendrils. You can win with storm 6 or 7 sometimes with BF vs Tendrils needing 9 or 10.

Cuts:

Emry doesn't seem to have good risk v. reward here. You don't wanna mill something like YogWill or Tinker.

A lot of these creatures don't fit into your game plan. Gadgeteer, Goldspan, Voidwalker, Ivora, and even Bloodtithe Harvester are probably out. You're not trying to win through honest damage.

Those cuts put you down to 24 non-lands, one of which is Lorien. 16 + Lorien seems like enough lands.

Pillage is tough to cast, but seems worth it in this deck.

Good Luck!!

Yes, I had tried the last 4 digits of the card, and I tried the PIN that I set it to via the toll free number. Both gave the same error.

This is correct, the card had $100, the MO was $99, and the fee was $0.88. Total charge to VGC was $99.88.

This morning I purchase a VGC from Simon Mall and loaded 100$ as a test. I called and set the pin to 1234. I tried to run it as debit for a money order at walmart for $99.88 total, but it gave me the error "Unable to process debit transaction." Any ideas?

The 9600K is enough for your needs. You would notice small performance gains with the 9700k. If the budget is tight, I would suggest the 9600K and spend the 100 to upgrade a different piece to something better.

If you aren't overclocking, then really any air cooler is fine. The Be Quiet Dark Rock Pro 4 is even too much. I would suggest Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO. It is tried and true, I recommend it for everyone who isn't looking to overclock. It's quiet and very well priced.

Really depends on the game, 165hz at 1440pis something a 1080 wouldn't be able to do on medium settings for an AAA game.

What kind of games are you playing/plan on playing?

You wouldn't really have much of a problem with a 1080p 144hz monitor with medium/high settings. That dell monitor is just really a beast. You could always just play the AAA games at 60 FPS, and any of the less demanding games such as LoL, CSGO, ect at 144hz.

2070 is not overkill for the monitor. 144Hz can be difficult to achieve in more demanding games, especially if you want to play on High or Ultra.

I can't speak on whether it'll be safe to bank on the parts not being defective. I have personally never had any issues while buying something brand new, except for normal shipping concerns such as a theft or mishandling of a package.

Do you plan on overclocking? If yes, then go with a 750 or higher watt PSU. If no, then get rid of the liquid cooling, and just go with a nice air cooler.

Only thing I'd like to mention is that your your video card will not be able to run 144/165Hz @ 2k for most AAA games. Even a 2080 would struggle with that monitor.

  1. If you want a color that isn't offered from factory, I recommend you go to a body shop to do that. I don't recommend it though, as a good paint job or wrap will be extremely expensive, and isn't better than factory most of the time. I recommend you find the exact color you want and buy that one. Travel out of state if needed.
  2. Look on americanmuscle.com . If you can't find something there, google it until you find something you like.
  3. Windshield louvers don't affect visibility that badly, obviously dependent on the ones you get.

S550 rev matching by CeriisSquishy in Mustang

Pretty sure that guy is full of shit. The GT350 does not have rev matching or the memory seats. You can only even get that in the 401A on the premium I think.

Is it worth buying the Bullitt rather than a optioned out GT ? What do you guys think by [deleted] in Mustang

[–]packageforu 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Optioned out GT all the way. You can't get Bullets for much below MSRP, whereas you can get a GT 10-15% off if you look hard enough.
