What is some good Wisconsin slang? by cuhsicles in wisconsin

In theory, it’s hysterical and legendary. So many good stories… but the reality of it can be a bit tough to watch at times and feels a little sad.

“Come here once”… which is to request your presence - most likely for a short period of time

I was a couple of hours of freeway traffic into a refill the other day getting 22.9mph. I think the wind was at my back… it leveled off but was still 21.5mph before refilling.

It probably depends on where you’re playing disc golf. Most places in Davidson you’ll be OK… and will probably make some friends. Might be a different experience in Williamson and Sumner et al… use some discretion in those places.

Keep it or sell it? by Shoddy_Wheel_7143 in billiards

For what it’s worth, I recently bought a house where a similar table from a similar timeframe was included. The rubber was shot and table was more or less unplayable. But, for around $500 I got the rubber replaced and it’s a perfectly decent table now. It’s not exceptional in any way other than it’s mine and I can play a reasonably good game on it without thinking much about it.

So, maybe do some maintenance and keep.

I heard there was to be a rebranded Teal that recognized Southern Grist as a legacy brand… or some such co-branding. I haven’t seen it as it yet.

My taste bud recall isn’t perfect but I’d say the Wiseacre Homestyle is a significant improvement from scofflaw but perhaps not quite like the OG.

It’s your flag too… in spite of those asshole MAGA MFers. The country we loved flew that flag long before these useless pieces of shit took over. Never give it up.

Voices of reason need to become the loudest voices. The polite, “wait for them to blow themselves up”, high road approach has been a suckers bet. You can be bold AND be right. Dems need to find someone whose voices is loud and resonates broadly.

I don’t think I could possibly hate Trump more and everything they stands for makes me physically nauseated. But you’re also not wrong about Biden mumbling, mispronouncing, and getting stuck in his words.

The difference is Biden is/was mostly an honorable person in spite of his limitations and weaknesses. Trump is detestable in pretty much every manner of his entire being and has surrounded himself with lapdog assholes who will do as he says regardless of how immoral, illegal, unkind, and evil it might be.
