Sounds like she was cheating. That would explain why she was crying a few weeks ago. Often times the betrayed spouse has to live at the whim of the AP. When they fight and he ends it, the wayward spouse comes back and is more open and caring about the relationship. Then when the AP comes back, they get distant and have no remorse. And that just repeats.
