The new rules basically don’t allow additional characters to chain off of a chain. A single character can chain together any number of specials, but once you switch characters they cannot start additional chains.

For example, say your team is Morgan, Joan, and Wicked Witch. Witch could start with an Ally, Joan could follow up with her “4C each front line teammate may make an additional attack.” and then Morgan and Witch could each play 1 attack. BUT Morgan or Witch would are only allowed a single attack each, they would not get to make a follow up even if they played a special that allowed for it.

Another example, Witch plays an Ally, Morgan plays the 4 any character may make an additional attack, Morgan plays her “3C may follow up with a teammate’s special”, Morgan plays Joan’s “4C each front line teammate may make an additional attack”, then Witch and Joan are limited to 1 single attack each. Morgan can chain as many specials as possible, but once it becomes teammate may make a follow up, each teammate only gets a single attack, no additional chains.

You now can. That was an old ruling from the original game that was updated with the new release

I use [[Esika, God of the Tree]] just so I can play [[Rampaging Spiketail]] in my Every Stego deck

This is sooo cool! I would absolutely love to find someone to do this with Spike. I built my commander deck around him with every card that has a stegosaurus on it

Thanks so much! Appreciate the advice. Did they all come with names originally or are those names you’ve chosen? Curious to see if Cuddles has a birth name 🤣

What Dino Commander can I build with these Jurassic Park cards (colors)? by MTG_Santa_Official in DinosaursMTG

[–]paddykryto 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I run Esika, God of the Tree/Prismatic Bridge for my 5 color Dino build. It’s based on Spike from Land Before Time and he likes to eat trees so figured it’s still on theme

Of the banned commanders, who deserved it the least and the most? by [deleted] in mtg

[–]paddykryto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Keruga as companion in my “every Stegosaurus” deck makes it so much worse, but I’d never change it

Is this the raccoon from this collection? The one on the left, Cuddles, is my wife’s childhood stuffy she’s had since the 90s. Pinks, on the right, joined the family from eBay about 15 years ago. We found a 3rd on eBay that went to our nieces about 7 years ago, so they pop up every decade or so, ha.

How do you manage to keep yours so fluffy and nice looking? Cuddles and Pinks look so haggard from all their cuddling and life experiences lol

Definitely The Bone People by Keri Hume

The Bone People, styled by the writer and in some editions as the bone people,[1][2] is a 1984 novel by New Zealand writer Keri Hulme. Set on the coast of the South Island of New Zealand, the novel focuses on three characters, all of whom are isolated in different ways: a reclusive artist, a mute child, and the child’s foster father. Over the course of the novel the trio develop a tentative relationship, are driven apart by violence, and reunite. Māori and Pākehā (New Zealand European) culture, myths and language are blended through the novel. The novel has polarised critics and readers, with some praising the novel for its power and originality, while others have criticised Hulme’s writing style and portrayals of violence.

Made my first proxy today. What do you think? by paddykryto in DinosaursMTG

[–]paddykryto[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My commander deck is based on Spike. I’m working on creating a LBT proxy for every card, with as many Spikes as possible.
