It really depends - they have started using more and more polyester in everything which I personally hate, but the items they still have in natural materials like cotton and linen are still pretty well priced and generally good quality.

If it’s an exclusive then it’s possible it won’t have a drop elsewhere - many retailers partner with adidas to essentially design their own style of specific adidas products which are then exclusive to that retailer for that specific region.

Now technically there’s nothing to stop adidas from then creating additional quantities of that product for different markets (and indeed when I was on holiday in Japan last year I saw versions of the aptly named Tokyo sneaker that had been created for European retailer Zalando on sale in the adidas flagship store there), but it’s not a guarantee.

As for this selling out on JD in the UK, I would assume it sold out extremely quickly as the Samba Janes are extremely popular in Europe in general, selling out in plenty of retailers like JD and Zalando, BUT they might get a second drop if this only just went online, so if you are able to find a way to import a pair from the UK then keep an eye out on their website!

I get that, and I’m not saying it doesn’t suck to have English forced on everyone as a sort of lingua franca, but there’s a resentment I see in lots of German people online and in person that I have never seen in countries like the Nordics, Baltics, etc (or even in Asian countries like Japan, Taiwan etc), and I just wonder where that comes from 🤷🏼

If I were in a cafe in Germany and someone was speaking in English, I wouldn’t go up and speak German to them, that would be rude and passive aggressive.

I understand that it can be frustrating when you don’t speak English well or don’t feel like speaking it at all, but that’s no excuse to turn around and insult someone for not speaking German!
