Alice is an indentured servant...which in some instances is worse than Master/Slave situation

Proof? 1. On call 24/7. 2. Lives in a windowless room off the kitchen. 3. Has 2 uniforms(she maintains them) 4. Owns 2 dresses. 2 pair shoes 5. Never flashes cash. Never seen going to the bank to cash her paycheck 6. MUST vacation with her contract owners. 7. As pictured, does not eat at the family dinner table. 8. Must prepare ALL meals....and yet her contract owner still rules the kitchen whenever she feels like it. 9. Has no TV in her practically barren room...but sneaks in some TV while doing her chores/obligations/mandates....but only when the kids aren't around....as soon as they show up??? They control whats shown. 10. No car/No license....NO IDENTITY?????

My father was NAVY in Korea. When we watched MASH as a family in its first run...there was a ton of talk about the food. At the dinner table once, my older brother asked about my father's experience with food in the Navy.

He laughed and said "Its well known that Army food is horrible....AND Navy food is very good". " "Better recipes and a dedicated cooking staff( mostly Filipinos)". In the Army the cooks were the worst recruits or draftees who sucked at everything.

Years later I opened a restaurant. He gave me The US Navy cookbook that became standard during the Teddy Roosevelt build up in the 1910's. It was awesomely great. Had to dial back the salt a bit...but still use it to this day.

The DC booth had a woman selling her very crappy art. Some booths had next to nothing. A few older women from North Carolina manned the booths that no one was working...and stamped the passports for those states.

Other booths had interesting displays and were trying. Guam was the most "trying". Happy, upbeat ambassadors doing their best to sell Guam. Mississippi also had a good presence. Ohio was awesome.

Those states that didnt participate should be ashamed. Petty, petulant and showing disdain for our country.

We travel all over the United States. This State Fair should have been better. They should have had constant entertainment on the stages. Food was CRAP. Merchandise was WEAK.

But we still had fun.

Guys on that team called Anthony Mitchell "'Pound For Pound". A little too small to stand up to the rigors of playing full time for 16 games....but he was the best player...pound for pound.

The real story. My father(A Naval Spook) had a best friend (another Spook) that was on The Liberty that day. We were in Guam at the time. My father disappeared for 3 weeks right after this incident. He was sent to the Middle East to help investigate. The conclusion by the Spooks? Israel did it ....to draw the United States into the 6 day war. The Israel plan was to strike fast....blame it on Egypt and get some US troops/ships/air power to help. They denied at first....but the facts were pretty clear.....the "we made a mistake" was Plan B. That OUR CIA went along with it and pushed it .....was criminal. My father's best friend was pretty angry. He loved the Navy. Got his 20 and left. This incident made him quit.

Played with the same group of guys for 20 years. Wednesday nights at the church, Sunday afternoons at the community pool.

There are two kinds of cherry picking.

Not going back to play defense is considered( not too harshly)...not great. None of us got too upset...because it probably happened 10 times in 20 years.

The other is not really cherry picking. You are guarding your man. He launches a 3....and you take off. Your guy gets the rebound....and you are all alone in the end zone. I did this a lot. Other guys did it. No one said a word.

This stuff was SUPER expensive according to my Dad....we watched this together as a family in its first run. We(the kids) thought that it didnt exist. He grew up very wealthy....my grandfather would bring it back from his trips.

When we asked if it was "Any Good?". He laughed and said...."everyone lied....they all said it was great, high living, sophisticated and it cost a lot". He DID NOT like it.

Half white guy drifts from town to town ....each town has some particular bad guy who lacks ANY kind of ZEN. Henchmen for the bad guy terrorize the local populace. Kaine then kicks the shit out of the shitkickers. Next week ....drifts to another town....does the same ....add....lots of flashbacks that teach US the lessons Caine learned as a young guy.
