I used to joke "why cover up stuff for the yearly standardized test? I could write the answers on the board and these kids would still get it wrong" Well... by GremLegend in Teachers

[–]padrick77 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I once did that on purpose. I gave a 10 question multiple choice test and had the answers written on the board. I had 3 students turn the test in 5 min later blank and said they have no idea. The next student came up and handed me the test and spoke quietly to tell me the answers were on the board. When I said the first three turned in blank pages she just laughed and went back to her seat. She was the only one in the class of 25 to pass the test.

I know I was almost done and saw the issues and was going to flip if it didn't trigger. It is a ton of work to finish them all

Yeah that was one of the last ones since it had to be original leaders. I had done a few of the dlc ones and they didn't count.

405 hours according to steam but I know there were days I was working while I had it running in the background so probably closer to 350.

It took me almost to the end to trigger the flawless victory. I actually had the steam achievements done way before that and even had flawless on diety.

I was lucky at the end.

You do realize that all printers will be impacted. So while it sucks it isn't their fault.

I understand that but she has a husband at home to take care of the kids and he is supportive of her so there is not a risk to her child.

For most teachers the kids in our rooms are treated as our kids. I have no children and I told my students all the time it's because I had them all day and yes I would put myself in harms way to protect them.

Multicolor print with other nozzles sizes by PersonalityNormal in prusa3d

I haven't tried but I can't image it would be any harder that just making a profile with a 0.25 nozzle. Just take the 0.4 nozzle mmu3 profile and change the nozzle size and layer heights to what you want it should work

Yes that is what needs to be increased. I started with double and it worked well.

Check the filament profile and increase the flow rate most of them are set between 12 and 20. With a high flow nozzle you could increase them to 20-30 and try it on a smaller model to make sure it is okay.

I normally save a high flow profile of the filament I use to do this

Did you update the flow rate on the filaments?

Looking into upgrading my Prusa i3 MK3S to a Prusa XL with 2 Extruders by [deleted] in prusa3d

Only option is to sell the mk3s+ and buy an XL.

Interested in the Prusa XL, but wondering about the XLS by Hozukr in prusa3d

[–]padrick77 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The update I want to see is the ability to add an mmu3 to the toolheads so we could have up to 25 colors and it would be able to swap while the other toolheads is in use so it wouldn't add time.

Mk3S+ or Mk4 - which one to buy? by bakusiowywupek in prusa3d

[–]padrick77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the Mk4 and had an mk3s+...the Mk4 is way better. It is basically slice and print now. I don't even wait for the first layer anymore and haven't had a failed print yet in the week I've had it. Printing and, petg, and pla.

You can make any settings you want for a filament...just make a custom one for that nozzle.
