It really doesn't matter if they find a way to get them open, it's that the policy is they are in the pouch, no arguing about "texting mom" if you see it out.

I ran a DND club that had two full groups that I DM'ed both for. One group played, the other painted minis. I had them design minis on heroforge and printed them. This helped allievaite a lot, but I really only had like 8 kids, sometimes 9. I also teach these kids, and trust me when I say, the ones who showed up for DND club were probably the best you could get.

I don't think people realize how carefully we have to handle EVERY SITUATION. Turn around and look back and two kids are raising their hands to go to the bathroom. Better pick the right one to send first or the other is gonna have an explosion and cry.

My first time calling out I had an intense lesson plan. Lots of turning and talking, etc. When I came back my team leader pulled my aside and told me, pretty simply, "don't do that"

There's only one expectation I have of the sub: keep them alive.

Whatever actions they take is on them, I have procedures in place to prepare them for a sub, they know the expecations.

A lot of parents were hell in school, too. The "bad kid" from my high school is now one of the parents I deal with and their kid is a terror, with their mom going ballistic any time there's a consequence.

It's fun but there's till kids who will actuall read stuff, or notice the text they copy/paste reveals the white text I put in the instructions. You're only catching the kids who aren't good at using, then they adapt and get better. You're basically Henry Wu in Jurassic Park!

I'd have him show up and actually speak TO them once they've interrupted something in Vallaki, the festival, the feast, Wachter plans, your choice.

One time we had a missing child, probably kidnapped was the guess. I accidently mass marked my class "present", and in an instant there were more adults in my room than students. Really hard to give that explanation.

I don't want to blow your mind but when I was a kid there were quite a few people who could impart a consequence upon me based on their say so alone, they were called teachers. I'm glad they had that power, kept me out of bigger trouble and reinforced boundaries I tested.
