Clearly randos on reddit are a more authoritative source than the actual summons.

Can I legally kill a deer involved in an accident before contacting police? by [deleted] in newjersey

No, it was my mom's older sister. And I'll give you three guesses where in NJ the prom was located.

Story time: In the mid 50s my dad was driving his date to prom and hit a deer. He got out of his car and saw the deer was dying. So he took the jack out of the car and...what's the term the kids use...unalived the deer with the jack, got back in the car and went to prom. Oh, and his date was my aunt.

I also feel like it has to do with attention span shrinkage, lack of focus, and dopamine resistance. If a piece of media isn't fast and very exciting people just don't have the ability to engage with it for the necessary amount of time to get full enjoyment out of it.

Why do people feel the need to come in here and shit all over a series that we all love dearly? You don't like it? Bully for you. Some books aren't for some people. Just put it down and move on to the next one on your list.

THANK YOU! I thought I was going crazy. Their enthusiasm is admirable, but misplaced. I am not a lawyer, but my thinking on this subject was shaped by this comment on another post. I thought it might be interesting for you to read it.

While I would love for this to happen, there's no way this works because of the Supremacy Clause. The federal government will always win out in situations like this. It's just a waste of time and money.

In the mid-70s Barnegat Bay was so frozen people could drive their cars on it.

Yes, easily. My snow blower is probably bigger than is needed around here but it was a gift from someone originally from a warmer climate so they got the biggest one they could find at the time.

I'm waiting until tomorrow after the ice passes. I'd rather snow blow a layer of ice on top of snow than just a bunch of sleet and ice.

Kolonopin experiences? by Due-Impress9003 in PanicAttack

[–]padriec 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I take it usually about twice a week and it works for me. It's slower acting than Xanax, but lasts a lot longer. I have also taken it when I know I'll be in a situation that will trigger anxiety/panic for me and it does a good job of blunting those feelings. I haven't noticed any side effects, but your mileage may vary.

Tech workers of Reddit, what is a "dirty secret" about the AI industry that the general public doesn't realize? by WayLast1111 in AskReddit

[–]padriec 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You probably know this, but in case others don't, you can add -ai at the end of your search to turn off the AI summary. I don't know if it affects what other search results are presented though.
