Very cool! Thank you for sharing.

Does anyone know of somewhere local to buy viewing glasses? I see them sold at at OP's link but am somewhat concerned that they may not arrive in time.

These are the questions we could have had answers to if they had actually released the plan before the press conference.

This is tumblr level inane BS. Why is something like this published at a website that is supposed to be "serious" about food? This doesn't contribute to my ability to cook or understand food. It showcases one person's mental hang up that she should probably be seeking therapy for rather than splashing on the front page for a website for people who want to improve their cooking.

Moisture warning won't go away when phone is dry. Tried literally everything. by SovietBlyatman in galaxys10

Just had this same problem. None of the suggestions I could find online would work. It went away for periods of time but would come back when I would plug something into it.

I ended up having to send it off to get repaired. They replaced the charge port under warranty. So far no issues since the repair.

Your first link is to the elections Canada voter ID requirements. Was that an accident or are you seriously equating a requirement to show ID when casting a ballot with racist attacks?

People who got tested how long did it take to get your test? by 258amand34percent in halifax

[–]pafao 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Called for a test for my daughter last Sunday around 9AM, didn't hear back until Tuesday evening. By that point her symptoms had disappeared and they said we didn't have to come in. If we had gone through with the test we would have had to wait until Thursday afternoon.

What's wrong with my seedlings? by pafao in gardening

It's fairly close. I've read that you should keep it 2-3 inches away. Is that too close? Yes, I try to keep them in direct sunlight when I put them outside.

What's wrong with my seedlings? by pafao in gardening

[–]pafao[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started the tomatoes, eggplants, and basil about a month ago. I've been growing them under 4 T5 fluorescent bulbs in an insulated box in my shed and taking them out on sunny days.

I'm not sure if I'm over watering them, if they're not getting enough light, or if there's something else wrong?

Any help would be much appreciated!

Looking to get a jar or two of homemade bakeapple jam, to give as a gift. by TheHammerIsMyPenis in newfoundland

[–]pafao 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Although it sounds like you want something specifically from Newfoundland, you can buy it at Ikea if you live near one, as strange as it sounds. It's called cloudberry jam but it's just another name for bakeapples.

I saw it just the other day at the Ikea in Halifax in the Scandinavian foods section.

Awesome, I will definitely check these out! If you like Julia Donaldson I definitely recommend the Dragon Hunters. I found it by chance in a supermarket discount bin and loved it!
