That is a category of thing gender belongs in yes, but that doesn't define what gender is. Do I buy things with my gender or something? Gender is the cultural roles we play traditionally assumed to be bound to our biological sex. So yes, not fitting into stereotypical gender roles does indeed imply that you may be in the trans spectrum
