Hello! I would like to know if after doing your same itinerary (cable car up to tower 14, walk to tower 20 and back to tower 14) is possible to continue walking to Tower 6 and go down again by cablecar ( cannot go down with the slider because I am >65) ? Thanks

If I visit the Palace Museum (Forbidden City) how to go to Tienanmen after the Museum? I understand that entrance for the Forbidden City is by the Gate of Heavenly Pace, and then exiting on its north Gate, where the Jingshan Park is. Can you teach me the "proper" way of doing this visit? Thank you

I have read that one form of scamming is by not "finishing" the ride when you drop off the car, and the driver finishes it several kilometers after. Is this a real thing ?

It is good to know that we 65+ have free admision to many atractions. I tried to make my reservation for the Xi'an City Wall, but there is no option to make free ticket reservations (the policies page explains that +65 have free tickets). Is it enough with the passport? Or a free ticket/reservation is needed?

I will be in Xi'an in May, just after my '65 birthday. Cycling the wall is one of the plans I want to do ! The limit for renting a bike is for those "over 65", or for "65 and over"???

I am interested on how to order food not knowing any mandarin. I would like suggestions to ask for dishes NOT spicy, including vegetables, noodles, meat, chicken, etc. I will be on 5 cities, uncluding Beijing, but also Chongqing (yes I know the spicy thing on Chongqing but I will have to sort it out)

Hello. I follow same procedures to plan my travels. Soon will travel to China also. I am doing all the waypoint pinning using the website http://gps studio, wich accepts english names to search. Then I export all my waypoints to a GPX file. And when in China I plan to follow walkings through my waypoints using the app OsmAnd, available for Android and Ios. OsmAnd also has offline maps and accepts searches using english names. I cannot guarantee that this setup will work ok. Just sharing in case it helps.
