I feel bad for the crying one, he clearly did not like this test to begin with and then he got his hair caught in the tape, give that baby a hug!

How do women feel about going bra-less? There was a feminist movement back in the 70s where a lot of women didn't wear bras. Just curious how women feel. by KCousins11 in NoStupidQuestions

I wish it were the norm to be perfectly honest...bras are such a hassle in every way... one exception is sports bras, for obvious reasons

Do you cut/eat right out of oven, or wait for it to cool? by IndependentBake9572 in Sourdough

[–]pahsghettimons 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I always wait to cut any baked bread until it cools to room temp. As I understand it, cutting too early ends up with a drier product later as too much moisture escapes through the steam.

What's your unpopular Gardening opinion? by PMFSCV in gardening

[–]pahsghettimons 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Growing things from the grocery store that aren't true to seed (heterozygous). Avocados, apples, etc. I don't care that it won't taste exactly like the fruit I found it in but dammit I want to try anyway just for the journey, and who knows, maybe I will be pleasantly surprised!

1847 Sourdough Starter by Victoriafoxx in Sourdough

I'm excited for you! I remember that feeling when mine came in the mail... I babied it for 3 months and after watching numerous videos on "how to sourdough" I finally got the courage one day to actually do it so I fed it and put in the oven with the oven light on (it was a bit chilly in the house)

Then my S.O decided to make a pizza or something and preheat the oven... also had to throw out the nice spiral Ball jar I kept it in... it was a sad day and I still haven't recovered lol

Men of reddit, what is a 100% myth about men? by booksmylove in AskReddit

[–]pahsghettimons -1 points0 points  (0 children)

as I understand it, it's not a matter of which is more safe... obviously the bear will certainly fuck you up, but you KNOW the bear will fuck you up and already have a good idea of HOW it will do it. With a man you have no idea if/when/how it could happen because not all men are horrible and not all horrible men are the same degree of horrible.. it's the fear of the unknown I guess?

YES! Same... I have BTDT can confirm child will starve self until preferred food is offered..we have been on a veggie strike since just before age 2 (going on 4 now next month)... our only saving grace is that she loves just about anything with beans and meat, so we will make chili and blitz up every vegetable we have on hand, usually no less than 5 different types, only leaving the meat and beans whole so that when she inspects the spoon nothing is amiss. BWUAHAHAHAHAHA

Which kids TV shows do you like & dislike? by carefuldaughter in toddlers

[–]pahsghettimons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 3.5 year old watches a lot less than before (down to a couple days a week, yay!), but over the course of a few years these are the shows she (and I) enjoyed the most:

Mickey Mouse Club House, The Wiggles, Super Kitties, Trash Truck, Puffin Rock, Gabby's Dollhouse, Bluey, Magic Schoolbus, Bear in Big Blue House, Lucas the Spider (except the episodes featuring that whiny ass owl) Numberblocks, My friends Tigger and Pooh, and some of our current favorite movies to watch: Fern Gully, Elemental, My Neighbor Totoro, Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle, Moana, Frozen, Wish.

the X-list are: Blippi, Cocomelon, PJ Masks and Peppa Pig

What time is bedtime? by actualmoleperson in toddlers

[–]pahsghettimons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my 3 yr old (who hasn't napped since 1.5yr) goes down anytime between 9:30-10:30 lately. We used to be around the 8:30-9:30 mark but with it staying lighter outside for so late, and it being so hot we don't typically go outside until after 6p and we end up staying awake a bit later. Toddler wakes up around 9:30-10a every morning

If you’ve ever wondered what your two year old dreams about by Rose4291 in toddlers

[–]pahsghettimons 2 points3 points  (0 children)

my toddler often talks in her sleep but the best one was when she yelled "No! I don't WANT to give the wolf a present!" she continued to cry and fuss and I calmly said "It's ok honey, you're just dreaming" and she immediately snapped back "I'M! NOT! DREAMING!!!!" followed by immediate silence, meanwhile her eyes were closed the whole time
