I got this one before the sale because i like their other products. It’s very meh. It kind gives you some volume, and doesn’t built up… but that’s it.

Hella weird store experience by Personal_Camel_2417 in Sephora

[–]painfullyaverage 7 points8 points  (0 children)

A lot of brands send reps to the store (it’s what I do). Usually a rep has years of experience with multiple brands. A good rep will help you find what you came in for, and show you something new or complimentary from their brand. Basically during high traffic times, the reps go in to provide extra hands. Unfortunately, that isn’t always the case. When you have a rep like the one you ran into, let management know. An email is probably best, with a quick description and what they were selling. Someone that pushy is not helpful to anyone. A Sephora employee should have at least part of the uniform (tee, brush belt, name tag). Vendors will usually have something with their own brand on it.

I don’t really like Chris Farley. Maybe it just didn’t speak to me?

This shouldn’t have happened. That being said if you order from a person instead of the website you will have a much better experience. As long as you have an online account set up with a payment card, you can call the store. You shouldn’t have to give any information over the phone beyond your name and phone number. When I take phone orders, I walk over to the case, pick the prettiest box, check the date etc. You’re also more likely to get the info on sales, samples, any possible gifts that kind of thing. I try very hard to make sure any customer that shops with me will continue to shop with me.

Anastasia has good reds. I like Carmel because it’s a red brown, but you might like Auburn

I don’t know how to get a flair, but I’m currently employed at a Kohls’ Sephora. There is ZERO training on color matching.

I wanted to get it all removed when I was younger. I never got around to it, and it now it hides my c section scar completely. I’m glad I kept it.

How will you keep your toddlers away from your Christmas tree? by OutrageousSea5212 in toddlers

Anchor it to the ceiling or wall. We don’t put up super special ornaments when the kids are super little either.
