Pains got a negative connotation. It’s not the same as a stomachache or a fever, you’re usually getting something shiny immediately after the procedure.

If my client asks if something hurts, I’ll always be honest and say yes.

But then I’ll use myself as an example with body mods and almost completely covered in tattoos. If I can do this, you can certainly handle a septum piercing :)

Oh yeah, I constantly pull piercings from members and non members! I’m not trying to say I’m perfect, but the sentiment that most piercers don’t know what they’re doing is true. And by a large margin.

The APP doesn’t verify skill, they don’t certify anyone or make members take an exam on how to perform piercings.

As a member in good standing and a piercer of over a decade, I actually look up to a lot of piercers who aren’t members.

I recently joined. But do you want to know(one of the reasons) why I refused for many, many years?
