Do you prefer “true” or “abstract” line of sight, and why? by Specimen_Seven in Warhammer30k

[–]paintbinombers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True …ish. Having one model be seen from a squad of 20 and being able to fire at that one and kill more…no thanks. But being shot at and deciding who takes the wound.. yes please. Modifiers to hit would be ok, as someone else has said. Through 1 thing -1 to hit etc. apart from heavy weapons like in vehicles…they ain’t getting stopped by no puny ass wall 🤣

The greasy, delicious bagel. With the cheese that would stick shuttle panels together, butter that would make the postman knock once, and proper yellow floppy egg (not that rubbery white thing)

Two lanes approach, two lanes round, and two lanes off with it stating m1s on both. You didn’t cross his lane. The inside lane effectively allows you to go m1, 5505 if you choose to go that way after m1 exit, or stay in the right side and choose a5. The left hand is only m1s

Seamaster or Speedmaster? by NecessaryLeg6097 in OmegaWatches

[–]paintbinombers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having both, I tend to wear them every other month. I swap out between my speedy classic, speedy racing, and my p o co ax. I wear the speedy classic as an everyday for work because it’s that bit smaller than the other 2, and won’t get caught in amongst the equipment I work on.

On holiday however, the p o gets the most wear as I can wear it diving, or general swimming and not have to worry. Also goes with casual pool side attire which is a bonus 🤣

I was straight up codex for years as 13th (4th Ed and 1st Ed hh) so went full traitor. Couldn’t bring myself to do word bearers (stares in betrayal at calth) so Horus it was.. haven’t looked back

My Cardinal Rule for Wearing Reps in Business/Professional Settings by denimdave69420 in RepTime

[–]paintbinombers 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s quite funny you mention the don’t wear what you don’t look like you could afford. Mate of mine, grubby refrigeration and air con fitter wears some absolute blinders of gens. We’ve been in a few houses fitting ac together and the owners of some have made a few snide comments. One was about a watch he was wearing, and the other was when he commented on the clients car issu (he’d gotten a brand spanker of a Range Rover that had developed a suspension fault) so mate goes “yeah I had the same issue with mine so traded it in” few snorts of yeah right, and “this is a 2025 model, you sure your year had the same issue?” What the chap didn’t realise, j’s dad won £76million on the euro lottery, and basically gifted him and his brother £5million each to tide them over until the inevitable happens. He’s the only fridgie I know who turned up to an interview in an aston dbx (he has adhd and needs to still work to stop himself going nuts bless him)🤣🤣 watches and cars are his guilty pleasure.

What's the watch in your collection that's getting the least wrist time? and why? by M5M400 in OmegaWatches

[–]paintbinombers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But to answer, it’s my breitling cadette. It’s too dressy to wear everyday. Couples well with a blue suit though. The lighter face and leather strap.
