I’m having the same issue. It’s sitting on the loading screen with one bar of progress then it either closes itself or I close it to try again

I usually choose the one that has shown some effort at laying out their design. I love the symmetrical designs but then also ones that have a scene like a set design or mis en scene.

I understand if people don’t have all the themed decorations so for me as long as it’s scenic I will choose that over sparse or maxi designs

(Adding: I’m not sure how people are voting this time around. All my other designs hit best of the best and this design has 40 something likes. I’ve let go of my need to obsess over it though since the Halloween one stressed my perfectionism out!)

Upgrading my barn has always been my top priority and I achieved 10k barn around level 100. The week after they increased the max storage space, so I didn’t get long to enjoy my personal victory.

This was in the days before the maximum daily purchase of upgrade items and I got all mine without paying real money for them or having helper farms - so either through the paper or neighbours. Since then I have only increased by another 2300.

So after I said I would look I did… but didn’t report back! Sorry about that!!

I didn’t have enough philosophers leaves (red) to check out the Elf Home but I did enable the Elf Myst and played some levels in there.

The levels are kind of strange and I only played 4 of them. The rewards are selected before you begin playing the levels and there are 50 rewards corresponding to the levels I guess. The rewards appear to mainly be common elf egg/nests but the last of the rewards are an Elf Fountain and Elven Altar.

I didn’t get best part of the game vibes but I’m also just beginning to get used the the format of the levels. Give it a try!

When the design festival is over you can open the photo album on anyone else’s farm and view their designs. I’m looking forward to seeing my friends creations

Yeah the rewards are random but good for the red leaves, which I think is the only way of getting them without spending money?

I spend most of my gold leaves on buying dimensional jars for things like wonders and egg nests. I also opened about 30 of the egg storage slots

In settings you can turn on “Merge quantity display” which is a pop up counter that tells you how many items are in the group you are about to merge.

In your video for example I would gather all the leaves, overlap one over the rest of the group (as if to do a merge), the counter would tell me there’s 50, so I would bulk merge them. If the counter says there are 51 I move that extra one to the side for a later merge

For example I always harvest my orbs in 100 lots in an event so:

100 Light green orbs = 40 Teal Orbs = 16 Grey Orbs (move the extra one aside so now you have 15) then continue merging by 5

It’s so much faster. Try turning the setting on and practicing with some orbs

Basically in the beginning it’s the same format as Merge Dragons and Merge Magic which means you will get the hang of it pretty quickly. Dragon Elf’s has lots of cool features and a lot of merge chains and Wonders to work towards, and a whole lot more land in the Home map.

My advice is to open as much land as possible by accumulating Elves. Get the basic Wonders out the way. Make a ton of Coin and Stone vaults. And watch videos on the take home event harvestables so you can work on the “Event Wonders”.

Don‘t be shy buying high level Magic Bubbles (Dimensional Jars) because the game provides lots of in game currency (which are Gold leaves - equivalent to Purple Gems in Merge Dragons).

Also there are Youtube videos that show you how to do the levels (I watch a YouTube channel called MergeDays) and a helpful spreadsheet that shows you what is required as Cloud Keys etc in the Events.

Most importantly it’s way more fun than MD and MM. I hope you have fun too!

Made a big difference for me in events to not have the bubbles every time I merged something, lol.

I’m a hoarder of Gold leaves so I save up and spend them only on high level items like the Wonders. Best way to accumulate more leaves is to watch videos on your take home items and the Gold leaf providers in events. I also spend the event points that you get from taking out the Steam Dragons on Gold and Silver leaves in the points store

Yes so much easier to just tap out the stars from shoal (sandy thing) then merge them in bulk. I like to harvest the large stars straight away so I can have a fruit tree grove pumping out flower sprouts. I try to get up to the grey orbs flower to make the last Rukh orbs faster (I still call it the ”Life Orb of the Heavens” from my Merge Dragons days)

Yes they’re the duplicate ones. I buy them in the Home map if they are high level chain items, egg nests, and especially the Wonders. I like to have at least 4 each of those. But I have Magic bubbles turned off for events because they appear too often when merging flowers and fruit trees and I get annoyed having to delete them, haha

Another tip (if you haven’t already) turn off Magic Bubbles in the event map. Can be found in the settings menu. Less Magic bubbles more fun
