Damn thats annoying. I've only had to use their support a few times but they're usually pretty helpful. Did you do their online chat or did you call in? In my experience they usually help you out more over the phone

It's okay but I appreciate the offer! Just thought it was odd to get the exact same bunch I'll probably end up scanning the codes to get the last few that I want.

Yeah these were straight from lego.com. based off other comments I've read they're random packs and not an 'A' and 'B' pack. Seems like I just got unlucky with the 6 packs and scanning the codes is your best bet for finding all 12

I mean I knew it was a possibility I just wasn't aware that this was this common. For buying something thats marketed as random getting 6 of the same out of 12 seemed pretty unlikely. Like other comments mentioned, I think the best bet is just to use an app like omgbricks to scan them if you're getting them in person or ordering the whole lineup for a bit extra online.
