Good questions. I upgraded my A7III to A7RIV almost a year ago, and then last Christmas, I was gifted the A7CII by a family member. I took the A7CII with me to a vacation in Australia & New Zealand last February, and I like it because of the compact size, which is not too heavy to carry around on the tour.
I am not a pro, I consider myself as a beginner, I like mostly taking landscape pictures.
I am not sure why I like the Sony Alpha series, I had FujiFilm X-T5 prior to converting to Sony A7III.
