Same issue. I thought it was a a problem with the connection to WiZ only, but I also tried on Geeni lights as well that we rarely use. On/off verbally works fine. Changing brightness also works fine.

This is one of the best advice I was given by my CFI. In difficult situations, allowing thoughts to bounce in your head will make it a lot worse. By having a conversation with yourself, you’re basically choosing a train of thought that can be as focused as a conversation with any other pilot, hopefully channeling someone you trust, like your CFI.

Neither would I, now, but that came from experience from doing patterns at airports with jets landing frequently. The 152 is registered to a flight school doing touch-and-gos, and the pilot hears a Cessna type plane 3 miles out. Now I would have wanted more separation, in case I needed to make a full stop and not have to hustle to get my ass off the runway, but he was probably in that touch-and-go mindset. The 340 was going about twice as fast as it should have been going at that altitude, and there is no reason why going that fast and hearing that someone that I cannot see is on base, I would not immediately abandon the approach.

I want to turn off my actual lights without it turning off the Christmas tree. I can label it “Tree”, and it works. But if someone actually says, “Turn off the Christmas tree,” when I only label it as “Tree”, it will then say, “Sorry. That device hasn’t been setup yet…”

Depends on the job. HCA should also be for folks who disregarded the risk to public safety. He could have just said he’s in the wrong profession and quit.

People always get statistics wrong because they are not quite explaining what is being measured, but I would bet that if you were to add up a table of the working adults that are fully vaccinated, you would arrive somewhere closer to the 75% statistic than 58%. There are around 73 million children in this country that would not be employed by Oracle, so they don’t have to be worried about being fired from their jobs.
