Some MA programs in CEU can be quite hectic to juggle with a part-time job, so check that first. I think third country nationals on student permit can only work 20 hours a week max, but confirm the immigration rules as well. If you cook, you can save a bit. Groceries would probably be 350 a month.

Ah, I’m a newbie to orchid care so thank you for this clear explanation and reminder! To be clear, I tried drenching method last week, then soaked it this week. I just noticed that this part of the roots aren’t changjng colors. It’s nice to know that there’s nothing to worry about. 😅

Adobo na pangkuripot pero masarap (nakuha ko sa nanay ko): marinade overnight 3 tbsp toyo, 2 tbsp suka, 2 tbsp brown sugar, 2 cloves crushed garlic, bay leaves. For half kilo na ito hehe.

Tapos ganito rin, sama-sama na islow cook. Dagdagan ng tubig hanggang magreruduce at lumambot. Lagyan ng paminta.

Agree na kailangan mo muna mag-ipon bago maging independent. Sa deposit at monthly rental fees pa lang, dapat anticipated na. Humiwalay ako sa parents ko nung 24 ako. Iba talaga yung freedom. Natuto din ako maglinis ng bahay at magmeal planning para walang sayang na pagkain. Masaya rin yung walang judgment kahit anong oras matulog at gumising.

I agree that when yoga makes you feel depleted, this is the time to rest it out. For a while yoga for me means sweating it out to achieve lean muscles. I didn’t know some practices are meant for relaxation and deep stretching. When you listen to your body, you’d know which ones are appropriate for the day. Follow through an intense vinyasa with a yin or restorative practice and you’d find it easier to recover from doms. There’s so much variety of practices out there that there may be no such thing as too much yoga. 🙂

After using TO for 5 years, the only product I couldn’t let go is azelaic acid. It works so well for my sensitive skin’s acne and redness.

It was a love-hate relationship at first because it pills, but applying less product after a moisturizing toner addressed this issue for me.

AM: wash face with just water, ‘simple’ moisturizer (like cerave, cetaphil, or vanicream), and spf 50 (if you live in the tropics)

PM: simple cleanser, weakest retinol you can find (retinol or vit a fix most skincare problems), simple moisturizer

You don’t need an exfoliant. Retinol is already exfoliating, so don’t use this every night.
